I think Pacquiao wins too. This whole thing seems so fishy to me. I think they want to strip Barrios of the title since he's not much of a draw (doesn't make $$$) and he's the weakest champ at the weight. I've written this before, but my guess is they want Pac to win so they can make a ton of money off the fans and to make history by winning at his age. Then, I reckon they want to coax Mayweather into taking a manufactured super fight with Pacquiao and double break the record, or line up Pac to lose against an industry plant the powers that be are pushing at 147.
Pacquiao even gaining a top ranking after years of inactivity is enough for me to think there's something weird afoot.

Barrios and ****ing someone up doesn’t go hand and hand lol. Dude absolutely bored us to death against Fabian Maidana and got a gift against journeyman Ramos. I liked Barrios story of coming back from 2 defeats and upsetting Ugas, but he’s looked like **** since then.

It is impossible to say the condition Manny will turn up in; the Pacquiao who beat Thurman would stop Barrios, the Pacman who lost to Ugas I would back to win by decision. But the Ugas fight was nearly four years ago; any remnants of the Manny we know may be gone. I hope he still has something left and can beat Barrios, or at least not be KO'ed, but he is playing with fire here fighting a guy sixteen years his junior. I hope Manny still has something left and can get the win, this satisfies any itch he has to come back, and he finally retires into the sunset whilst making a bit of history in the process.

If its close I think Pacquiao definitely gets the decision. PBC is desperate for big fights which is why this fight is even happening at all. Give Pacquiao a belt and thats a guaranteed PPV next time out.

If Pacquiao actually looks good? I'm picking him over Rolly Romero for sure.

Maybe I'm wrong but I remember Fabian Maidana kind of giving Barios a boxing lesson

After the first fight, which was such a disappointing anticlimax, happening far too late and over a decade ago, I don't see how a rematch does anywhere near the same numbers when they are both in their 40s.

No interest in this. Will be tuning in for the Jesse Rodriguez vs Phumelela Cafu card which will also have Diego Pacheco vs Trevor McCumby and Austin "Ammo" Williams vs Etinosa Oliha on the undercard.

A couple of scores being settled in rematches on the undercard:

    • Sebastian Alexander Fundora vs. Timofei Konstantinovich Tszyu II at super welter
    • Isaac Jonathan Cruz González vs. Ángel Daniel Fierro Barrera II at super lightweight

Barrios has to be favoured simply because Pacquiao is 46 and has been in the ring once in the past 6 years.

But if any current world champion is beatable it's Barrios. Very basic boxer and has never looked spectacular. There's a reason little Tank picked Barrios to snipe his (WBA Regular) 140lb belt.

Barrios likely wins a decision but Pacquiao beating Barrios should not be a surprise at all.

I can see Pac being successful for the first few rounds but his age will be the problem as the fight goes on. Barrios will be too strong over 12 rounds.
