    Once again, similar pattern to the last one, Mendez sitting down on and landing several shots, but Batyr walking through them now, and easily outworking him. Although Mendez is just defensively sound enough to avoid eating KO shots clean.

    at least the fight is entertaining. But akhmedov is extremelly stiff, and he's open AF when he attacks. The first decent heavy puncher that he fights and can kind-of-counter-punch, he goes to sleep on the canvas (unless provodnikov kind of chin).

    He reminds me a bit of lemieux in his style, btw.

    No everybody can be ATG. Provodnikov is one of my favourite fighters (I miss him). I dont ask my figthers to have a zero. Akhmedov at least is entertaining, we cant say that about everybody.

    Most likely, because he was scheduled to have a rematch with Barrios, but Covid ****ed those plans up, so instead of whining, he just went ahead and fought on Barrios' undercard.
