Good fight, but I don't think Briedis has really come across anything like Haye when he was at his audacious best. Moreover, Briedis' come-forward style would be tailor-made for Haye who'd time and drill Briedis on his way in with an array of power shots. The Haye uppercut, in particular, is going to hurt the Latvian. I can't see this ending any other way than a Haye W KO (inside 6 rounds).
It would be a good decision win for Briedis if Haye didn’t knock him out in the early stages of the fight. Briedis decision would be likely considering Briedis’s strong chin.
I think Breidis stops him. Haye never really impressed me all that much. He had a great overhand right but never really impressed me the way a prime Briedis did. I don't think Haye would have done all that great in the cruiserweight era that included Breidis, Uysk, Gassiev etc. Haye's era of Mormeck and Fragomeni pales in comparison.
