UFC fans bitched about PRIDE. But PRIDE would have put on a bout like this. Hell yeah id like too see Mariusz vs Brock! Remember Ron Waterman? He was a former BB turned Mixed Martial Artist.

The question is, could Fedor arm bar this big boy or is Mariusz strong enough to survive a full on Fedor arm bar?

I know that Barnett would have him taping from a heel hook in no time though. :good

I wonder if Brock could take him down and lay and prey him to a decision?

i am a weightlifter and have followed wsm for decades....mariuz is not THE worlds strongest man, if we had to bestow that honour on one of the competitors in that genre of competition, it would surely go to big zavickus..(spelling??)..that guy is incredible for ststic strength, pressing, deadlift etc...i have no doubt in my mind when it comes to strenght events, he is the wsm amongst his peers. where mariuz consistently scores is that he is, undoubtedly, the worlds strongest fittest man...his explosiveness and endurance are unparralelled in wsm history. the guys combination of extraordinary power and endurance/fitness is incredible.

i had heard mariuz had a history of boxing and martial arts and although im certainly a realist in that i doubt he can compete at a high level straight off the bat...thats not what the guy is trying to do, he is starting at a low level and finding his feet so good for him. i reckon mariuz can become fast, explosive and he already is very flexible for someone with his musclature. if he can work on his grappling and stand up and maintain a high percentage of his power and explosiveness he could be an inriguing prospect within the next few years or so.......but how will he cope without his doctor????....and the big question, as ever....he has got muscles everywhere..bu has he got muscles on his chin??...cos if he hasnt, no amount of training puts them there....

It amazes me that every single time we talk about Mariusz Puidzianowski on this forum, some fruitbags like scurla and the other closet fruitys come out with Savickas rants.

We have discussed this, countless number of times, yet all you guys seem to bring up the same exact **** every single time, either cause your bored or have no life. I dunno you pick.

    ; ]

    Ill end it with this:

Savickas isn't as moble and doesn't pocess the speed like Mariusz does. Mariusz has a better chance at MMA sucess than Zyrdunas does. End of.

You are talking about guys who train to do conventional lifts. The sort of events Mariusz does are all unconventional and extremely difficult due to their nature. Who is stronger is debatable but you could argue that Mariusz is practically stronger.

Can see you're point but in terms of pure strength its not close. Most avid weight lifters know Zavickas is by far the stronger of the two. The diffrence is Mariusz excel at the more athletic events and has alot of explosive power because of "how" he trains. Big guys like Glenn Ross and co are just used to lifting huge amounts of weight and thats it. Zavickas is the same. If he never blew his knee's out he would have way more WSM's.

I watched that man do a log lift above his head up a gradient. He walked up it setting multiple records at the event as though the log weighed nothing more than a lb of sugar. Every other lifter failed. Iv never in my life seen that kind of strength before.

There are some great guys but I think Mariusz revolutionised WSM because he actually looks the part. Same with his Polish sidekick who's name I forget. They were put through a health farm etc Mariusz is supremely conditioned but he is also incredibly strong. Look at him lift that fifth stone in record time.

Mariusz is the complete package. A perfect blend of strength and stamina.

I agree with this statement........... Practically stronger is what people are not taking into account.
