Five-time Worlds Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski is currently one of the most talked about names in the sport of mixed martial arts following his recent lightning quick demolition of professional boxer Marcin Najman that was viewed by nearly six million live viewers during last weekend’s KSW 12 card in Poland.
It now looks as if the 300 pound colossus with a background in Kyokushin Karate and Boxing may be taking a big jump up in competition in an effort to fast track it to the top of the heavyweight mountain by possibly colliding with the brother to the baddest man on the planet, and a pretty bad man in his own right, Aleksander Emelianenko.
Apparently KSW is currently in talks with M-1 Global in an attempt to co-promote the promotion’s next card during an event that is being targeted for April in Russia according to the Oskar Berezowski/Polska newspaper.
Outside of Emelianenko, it looks like Bob “The Beast” Sapp is also being considered as a possible next opponent for Pudzian according to a recent tip over at

    .
If these early reports of KSW and M-1 Global possibly co-promoting in the future are true, this writer has to wonder whether or not we may see “Super Mario” stateside sometime soon in a similar co-promotion package. While M-1 Global have always welcomed co-promotion with open arms, Strikeforce has long held the same stance.
I don’t know, but how does Pudzianowski vs. say…. Bobby Lashley sound to you guys? Sounds like money in the bank for all involved to me.

I guess he's not too serious about making a run in the sport if he wants to fight Aleks already.

 Bob Sapp would be good. He shouldn't be thinking about Aleks at the moment.

if he planing to have a carer and not just test it out for a few fights and then quit i think it would be insane for him to fight alex at this point in his carer

sapp would be perfect then he should go against a smaller really good grappler and striker

i would rate alex as one of the top heavy weightz in the world

I dunno...I think I got a lot of faith in Pudz! The man is just in to good of shape, to big, does have enough background, to aggressive, and is going to simply be to much for a lot of people.
Is he sloppy? Hell yeah! BUT the man is a freight train. Any 300 pound man with a six pack..Is not human. I seen him in the finals one year pick up the car (weighing around 900 pds) and SPRINT with the damn thing.
Those who say WE'LL SEE IF HE CAN TAKE A PUNCH OR NOT. Are you kidding? A lot of punch resistance comes from your neck, and I'm sure you can't get much bigger/ stronger than his neck. SHeer size, and strength I bet this man can take a beating. Unless he's like Bob Sapp, and cries whenever he gets hit. I really doubt it though...He's WSM, anybody who knows anything about him...He's got a massive ego going on. SO, I don't see him giving up easily.
You guys aren't giving him enough credit. Not every big man lacks HEART, endurance, and dedication. I'm not saying Pudz beats Fedor, or anyone like that right now, but I want to see the man that stops him, and how they do it......

Pudz is a real athlete a multiple WSM champ, Green Belt in Kaikan Karate and a former Rugby player.. win win situation for Pudz, if he loses it's expected, but if he wins it's a big boost in his MMA career

Totally agree, he should stay away from both Emeliananko brothers for as long as possible.

I think Pudz should stick to power lifting. This is just a flirtation with MMA and nothing more.

Pudzianowski may want to look at Tank Abbott's most recent wins, and challenge a couple of those guys. Tank my be too scary at this point.
