His overall KO ratio is misleading. Wach now has 5 straight stoppages, and most are very heavy similar to what you saw tonight. I don't know how, but he has become pretty heavy handed. Could be a slight change of punching technique with the new trainer.

Sounds like Adamek. LHW to HW. He'll never hit like Wach, no matter what power-ups and roids.

    Cheers

That could be style, build, how much he actually puts into punches, etc

I agree that the heaviest punchers in history were made for it. Born that way to some extent. But it can be worked on

Odd that Fightnews.com hasn't posted this fight. They're usually quick. Maybe they're waiting on medical report.

It can be, but no matter what the result, the bottom line is you are limited to your bones, tendons, ligaments and pain threshold abilities to withstand the stress.

No one is ready for something like this in an 'under the radar' fight.

I just hope the "something like this" isn't bad news.

McBride went to the hospital on a stretcher. Even if its serious, we won't know for another few hours. Chances are he's ok. He lost consciousness before he hit the canvas, though its unclear whether he regained it.

One thing that Wach did well is go to McBride's soft body often, visibly hurting him on one occasion.

Eh now listen here, when I was a wee little lad around 16 years old, I looked a bit like butterbean, 5,9 250 And I felt I had more power. Today I'm 170 6'1 and my power is not what it use to be when I was 250.

Also Fat pride, once a fatty always a fatty.

I'm sure it'll be on Youtube. That and the Wach KO.

Eh, impressive is relative. Both opponents were steaming manure.

Agreed. But the important thing is they had no trouble doing it.

In my mind, though, there´s no comparison, Szpilka is a natural born killer. I tell you at this rate, he will have trouble finding opponents who want to fight him. He is already running into this problem in sparring. Monte ¨Two Guns¨ Barrett backed the hell out of his sparring contract, after seeing his friend get hurt by Szpila.
