Inoue is now taking the lead, controlling the flow of the dance and gradually forcing Yap to give ground, scoring jabs on the belt line and bridge of the nose alternately. Quick straight combos up top by Inoue, sudden and explosive. Yap is hopping around, popping a double jab on the belly from mid-range, trying for some overhand rights as he turns Inoue but not getting close enough.

Round 4

Inoue is forcing Yap repeatedly into the corners & ropes, but is guardedly cautious as Yap is still able to buy himself some room by feigning a big morning-star right hand, whipping it halfway out above the shoulder and causing Inoue to jump outside to reset. Inoue's jab continues to carry the day, and he is mildly stunning Yap when he bends his knees and rockets up & in with a 1-2. Yap is fighting well off the ropes and not taking major punishment, but the hand speed of Inoue has created a deficit in clean blows connected and Yap is starting to look a little frustrated.
