No, he activated it SEVEN days later. Did you click on the link? It helps if you actually read or pay attention, and not just repeat what Eddie Hearn says. Type "Deontay Wilder activates rematch clause" in any browser. It's really easy. This content is protected
I didn't invent it. I pulled it from a Fury insult video on Youtube. (LOL) All actual quotes. Won't fight Wilder again because Wilder insulted him. The trash talker doesn't like to be insulted. It hurts his feelings. Fighting man.
Yes They tried when they saw the final huge pay day for Wilder but obviously it was too late Small print victory And dear god, going on about the insults and fighting man blah blah Why didn't Wilder unify any belts? Why did he turn down 120 million to do so Why didnt he even entertain a match with Wlad? Why did he turn down a career high pay day for the time against Whyte?
I am surprised he managed to wear all that gear without his little chicken legs going all noodley and jelly on him.
When did the rematch offer officially expire? From what I've seen, it was 10.31.20. And DW came out AFTER that with his challenges, is that correct or the most part?
True. The Wilder Bodyguard Council went far and above the call of duty for their favourite son Bumzsquad. To be fair, so did his surrogate father Tyson Fury too by travelling to his backyard twice to humiliate and embarrass him in front of his home fans.
I have to agree with this and i am shocked at most people blindly siding with Breland out of their hate for Wilder. Here is a trainer whose sole job was to improve the boxing skills of the one fighter he had to work with for a long time, he failed at his job badly as Wilder mostly relied on his power to win his fights. He claims that Wilder didn't listen to him, whose fault is that? A good trainer has to win the respect and confidence of the fighter first, it is clear Breland never had Wilder's respect, confidence, if Wilder was refusing to listen to him all these years, why did he not walk away out of self respect a long time ago? It's clear he stuck around for the free paydays until Wilder gave him the boot. IMO what Wilder needs is a Teddy Atlas like figure in his corner, two highly emotional but fiery characters, the kind of guy who can get you to punch above your weight. Teddy is not the kind of the guy who will say things to please you, he will call it as he sees it which works for Wilder.
Honestly don't think Wilder would respond to Atlas, remember wilder is the guy that said who needs skills when you've got power ? If that's your attitude going into a fight, no trainer will be able to help that That said, following that loss to Fury maybe now he'll see the benefit of skills, although it's probably too late to make it count
Does Wilder appear to be someone that would respond to an Atlas type figure? I have serious doubts he would
