Probably in the minority here but I'm really looking forward to seeing Mark Chamberlain box again. I thought him Vs noakes would be a bit one sided but after Sam showed a few more dimensions to his game last time it's looking really intriguing. Looks like they are trying to set noakes up with the winner of baranchyk v navarette who should be rematching Robson but that's another sore l story. World set it up nicely. Also reckon cacache could pull it off only concern is how inactive he's been as I don't think he's fought since that Italian fella on Joyce v Parker which is ages ago.
I'm actually taking cordina to win by stoppage. I think cacace come forward style will suit cordina. I like watching chamberlain too, I just wish it was someone just a tiny level above this guy he is fighting,
What come forward style? Cacace has mainly been a backfoot counter puncher in every match I've ever seen him in.
Yes I wrote that wrong. I was meant to say cacace will go with a come forward style in this fight. He has got that toughness and will know he can't outspeed or outbox Joe so he will have to throw a lot of shots and this plays into the hands of cordina
Let's hope not! Personally, I've always thought Anto had the style to beat Cordina, he's long, rangy and should just lay back and let Joe bring the fight to him, and pick him apart in the process. His wins over Bowen and Magnesi are damned underrated, and their pressure is far more unrelenting than Joe's. So while Cacace might not have the speed, he does have the timing.
I agree with you but I think he will fight a lot more in this fight and it could be his undoing. I think it's his only chance to nick a pts win too. If he sits on the back foot he gets widely outpointed. He has to fight and hope cordina s weight making catches up with him
It's a pretty sad state of affairs when the only way a fighter can get the nod, is to change up their fighting style, and put themselves at undue risk, just to make sure they even have a chance at beating the A-side. Slickness never seems to work in favor of the B-side.
