    Geez man i remember this like it was yesterday. That fight was about 5 or so years ago.
    Widdowmaker came on here hanging off Coleman's nuts saying Coleman was right to do what he did. And me and him went at it for a bit. Personally i thought he was way out of line.
    When Coleman came out he was literally screaming as he walked to the ring. That dude was so pumped you could see the roids seeping out of his pores. Even by that time though Mark was a shadow of himself. His prime was when he won the GP and back in the early UFC when heabutt's were legal. Mark never evolved with the sport which was the case for most of HammerHouse. Shame as they were one of the most talented Team's in MMA.

    I think the turning point for Coleman was the second fight with Fedor in 2006. He got alot of hype after the second Shogun(the first time Coleman had ever been controled on his back I believe) and Bonnar fights but really he'd lost a ton of power and speed. His sucess in those matches was really just down to being such a tough *******.

    His win over Shogun didnt prove anything. It was a fluke accident that Shogun broke his arm in the fall.
    As for his second bout that was a BRUTAL beatdown. Mark simply got beat up. His kids were ringside and saw the whole lot. Then he invited them into the ring. That was painful to watch as Mark had no answer whatsoever to Fedor and Fedor did as he pleased.

    I was talking about the second fight, he did take alot of punishment but did better than expecxtedc(mostly due to Shogun gassing). After that and the Bonnar match he got a fair bit of hype but really was not at the same level he'd been at even a couple of years beforehand.

    I do think Coleman was better than he got credit for post GP win, more a case of him being happy to take the big money fighting Nog, Fedor and Crocop. I think he could well havew picked up a few high profile wins in that era verus the next run down of fighters.
