Mark de Mori vs Shane Cameron - 10 Rounds

Both fight very similar IMO. Good basics, traditionally a bit smaller for heavies that have muscled up to hold there own in regads to size and power. I think at the moment Cameron does everything just a little bit better, although in time, especially now that Bobby (mark) is in the states he certainly has the ability to beat him. WHich isn't a chop at all considering Cameron is still a very solid fighter. I said all along though that Cameron would get beaten once he stepped it up. IMO he doesn't have the size and strength to really trouble the top guys, and technically although good he isn't fast or good enough to be able to really compete with the top heavies. IMO Bobby would really have to work on the technical side of his game to be able to compete with the top level heavies, as I think much like Cameron he lacks the physical tools to really impose himself upon some of the naturally bigger guys.

I didn't see Cameron last fight/loss but i have a very good opinion of him.

Don't know much about Mark de Mori.

I will reserve my judgement of this fight outcome

 

hey guys i have sparred a few times with cameron when i was self trained and have great respect for him and his team, i have not fought anyone in shanes class yet so hard to say.

 

Good thread Doc, and MSTR that was a good respectful wrap up of both fighters. Ill save mine for after bobby has his fight.

But we know Bobby could hit Shane, and with the skin Shane has..... only a matter of time before the ref stepps in........ maybe.

 

would be a brilliant cruiser, would be a world champ for sure, still could prove to make it in the heavy division also, i rate his performance against friday just his skin betrayed him....
a fight with mark would have to happen in a year or two possibly one of the best matches between oz and nz if it comes of if both continue winning..
who would win will be a difficult one to answer at the moment shane will most probably but mark has a great chance of stopping him with cuts, even at the moment they need a common opponent to choose, mark fight big bob, his chin is soft these days and he hates alot of activity although hes big you could definately do a shane cameron on him in quicker time....

 

I rate Shane and havnt seen Mark fight.

As MSTR says his size is a factor.

Cameron wins this one if they fought tomorrow. However i think Mark has more room to improve once he starts fighting tougher guys I think he'll learn alot more whereas I think Cameron has gone a little stale in that he hasnt improved alot over the last 18 months.

Cameron will never be a world champion, watch the Ahunanya fight again, Friday was slipping all over the show and couldnt get any traction off the canvas from rounds 4/5 onwards. He said he fel as though he couldnt load up on his punches for fear he'd slip and miss and have Cameron counter him. However in the 8th round Friday had Shane hurt and could have got him out of there had he not slipped onto his backside! I do believe Shane was winning the fight on the cards though, but like I've just said think Friday could have stopped him earlier if he wasnt slipping!

Cameron can punch a bit but he isnt devestating, he gets beat by the Top 50 guys!

 

who you counting as top 50 chauncy welliver? please cameron has improved and dont embarress yourself making stupid comments, you just dont like the fact he wont fight your fighter, i give props to both shane and mark both good fighters that are better then anyone in this country...

 

never seen mark fight,,must be ok though,,don kings intrested in him,,shane is tough,seen his fight against friday,,very honest thoughts there mark,,best of luck in the states,,

Love reading the excitement in his one eyed comments.

He doesnt bring much truth but he definetly brings a hardon that would even put a diamond in a snowstorm to shame when it comes to talking bout friday.

If a guy has crepe paper skin then he's got crepe paper skin. FULL STOP. If a few hooks or solid rights are gonna split his noggin open like a boiled bratwurst there really isnt much you can do about it. I rate Camerons skills and ability quite highly but his facial skin will let him down and he will nearly always get cut.
