We will see who is left laughing when Hrgovic gets TKO-ed in round 7.

Never underestimate a opponent who has nothing to lose, who is content with his career end.

 

If Hrgovic loses to DeMori, he should retire, that would be an EMBARRASSING loss considering chinny, body falling to bits former cruiserweight David Haye knocked him out in 1 round almost 8 years ago, and his opposition since then has been absolutely woeful

 

De Mori against Hrgovic has the same chance as me that I will have a date with Jennifer Lopez, the difference in class is too big and De Mori could end up in the hospital...

 

He already holds the world record.

For most professional wins against someone with first name Lazlo.

Huh? Mark De Mori has been refusing to accept the end of his career since a near-40 year old unheralded Aussie club fighter named John Wyborn knocked him out. That was in 2004.

De Mori looks the part but any credible opponent can stop him quickly & in entertaining fashion quickly. Looks the part, yes, but plays a different one.

 

Look, this isn't rocket science...

Mark De Mori can pass an eye test and his much-padded record gives him a veneer of credibility to the casual fight fan. But obviously he's there to be knocked out in highlight-reel fashion by Hrgovic in an effort to raise Hrgovic's profile as an alternative to Tyson Fury.

In other words, the goal is for the IBF & promoters to send a warning to Tyson Fury that while he is desirable - he is not essential.

Not gonna lie - I don't think this tactic is likely to succeed, but I don't see short-term alternatives.

Mark De Mori literally said in an interview the other day (I posted a link to it earlier) that he realized he'd never be heavyweight champion when he sparred Tyson Fury.

It was a refreshing admission.

I've only seen the guy fight against Haye. So I'm not expecting anything but a one-round blowout. But, it would be nice if he put on a good fight.

Nobody wants to see an clunky walkover on the card Saturday. Although, this might be it.

 

And I will win the lottery tomorrow night.
