Stoked to see Mark back in the ring. Hopefully he can get what he needs out of this fight, shake of some rust and show he still has what it takes to roll with the best. Hope to see as many Mark fans down there as possible as well as any haters too. Come feel the Team MDM love
So he's fighting a well picked 90kg nobody, who is undefeated by fighting cab drivers consistantly, will still probably go the distance, only because mark needs the ringtime right.I've heard edwards has pulled out of the remach with kirby for the aus title,so maybe mark will have a go against kirby then!i'm sure kirby won't mind...
Kirby has had 9 fights and lost 3 of them, does this now make him a somebody in world boxing circles?
Good to see Mark down in Cockburn in my neck of the woods. Will try get out to see some of these fights...i hope they can get fellow local Spearwood lad Renato Oliviera on the card.
Shouldn't that read 'cockburn ON my neck? ....doesn't sound like something a guy should be suffering from in any case.
Demori hasn't even fought for a state title, does that make him someone destined for a world title shot.
Maybe they can fight for the Aussie Heavyweight Title in the US......a Don King Promotion....waving the Aussie flag.
OZ title can't be contested outside OZ. However, if Kirby was current champ & was stopped by de Mori, he would be recognized as champ........providing he didn't reside outside OZ for longer than 6 months. If de Mori outpointed him, title would be declared vacant, because it wouldn't be a sanctioned title defence - Residence rule also applies
That is probably the most interesting Aussie boxing technical ruling information regarding the contesting of an Australian title I have ever heard. Question Da Voice: Has this scenario ever presented and who was the overseas residing challenger?
I might've misread above comments, while focusing on Carlton/Geelong game Might also need a few more Chards to stimulate da brain:nut
