demori needs to spend less time prancing about in lycra for the cameras and get in the ring and start mixing it with real heavywieghts

Fighters are allowed to have a sense of humour.

Nothing in that video indicates that what you saw is all he does.

It also doesn't have anything to do with him not getting in a ring. Lighten up mate. I had a good laugh at the video, and IMO making us laugh was about the only intent of that vid.

 

Yeah I have the same impression. His personality seems to me to be better suited to bodybuilding or something. He doesn't seem serious at all.

 

And you came to that conclusion based on a comical video he posted wearing a wig on facebook.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not a fanboy of De Mori, I'm neutral on the guy for now. I saw a video of PacMan singing karaoke once, that doesn't lead me to the conclusion that he's not serious about his boxing.

 

Well obviously it looks like I am jumping to knee jerk reaction based on the one video. But with the inactivity and clowning around I get the feeling the dedication is not there. Not that I don't think he trains and all the rest of it. I just don't see anything serious about him.

I have a feeling both Meehan and De Mori have some kind of clause in their contract with King that if they lose a fight not promoted by King that their deal with King is off...

i understand king is a convincing guy and these guys get caught up in the hype, but if u r not in the ring proving yourself why bother?

at least now there r avenues through europe for up and coming heavies to climb the ladder.

 

True, he ****ed around Paul Briggs for a while as well, fights were organised etc Briggs would be in full training then King would pull the plug on it at the last moment, it would be very frustrating.
