Do people really wonder why Mark doesn't post on here, or on boxing forums anymore? Seriously, why do you think? it probably has everything to do with hating threads like these, coming from guys too scared to chase their own dreams.

I am a close friend of Marks, and I read all this stuff over and over again and most the time I choose to ignore it and move on, but this time I will give it a once only reply.

If you actually knew Mark you would know he is one of the most hard working, humble, friendly, intelligent guys you will meet either in the boxing world or the real world. He has no 'hate' for anyone and would be the first to admit he wishes he has been ALOT more active over the past 2 years and also the first to wish Alex or any of the other heavy's out there all the best. He has stated 'truth be Alex is getting fighting the kinda guys, I would love to be fighting and it's kinda insulting to Alex, giving the calibre of guys he has fought lately to keep bringing up my name given his latest fights' Mark has never bad mouthed a single fighter to me since the start of his career and has nothing but respect for anyone, be a fighter or an accountant if they are chasing their dream or whatever makes them happy.

Over the past couple of years Mark has been lied to, promised the world, backstabbed, and basically robbed, but not once has be got down on someone. He has put this all down to experience and learning and is the most positive person i know.

'Yeah how do you talk with Mark's **** so far down your throat?' is what I am expecting from all you keyboard warriors out there in forum land, but when you seriously sit there and think about it, what is there to hate about someone trying to achieve their dream. He's not out there, saying he's the greatest thing in the world, he is out there trying to promote himself (video's, twitter, photos whatever) so as people want to see him fight and if you look at this it must be working.

Who else keeps on getting threads made about them when they haven't fought for two years?

Now I am no boxing scholar or anything along those lines, but surely you understand that who you fight is up to your promoter? Do you think King is going to agree to Mark fighting someone for chump change, with no international name, in a fight with no coverage, or do you think it is possible to fight in the States if you don't have a working visa? Just think about it.

No one would be loving to get back in the ring more than Mark himself and now that his visa stuff is finally sorted, lets hope he does.

Truth be, if you can show me a harder working/training HW boxer anywhere in the world, who hasn't been given the chance to fight for 2 years, I will take Marks **** out of my mouth and gladly throat yours. He is in the gym 4 times a week then boxing on top of that to constantly stay in shape that with 4-6 weeks notice will get him ready to fight. He doesn't take weeks off, get fat or go out on the ****. He is a professional and treats his boxing like what it is, a job.

Seeing as this is going to be my one and only post I thought I might as well make it a long one

I wish every fighter the best and hope they achieve what they are looking for, I have nothing but respect for each and every person that steps into the ring.

I really doubt people on here are hating on Mark like you suggest.

They probably started out as real fans and then slowly but surely got jack of him not fighting.

As for every one who posts about Mark being too scared to chase their own dreams or hating themsleves and their lives... Haha...Did you get a Tony Robbins DVD for xmas Mr Superstar.

Why don't you ask yourself what its like to be living vicariously through the bloke you so often talk about "throating" his ****.

Plenty on here do fantastic work and may not be fighters but they are fans and are entitled to an opinion and respected.

demori doesnt post here for the same reason he doesnt fight here he has no respect for the aussie boxing public he thinks we are all beer swilling westies
demori gets about an average of 1.5 threads a year about him on here because he is not a boxer and nobody cares the 1.5 is the thread which throws up the question about this

demori has been with the same promoter for more than 3 years is this the same lying backstabbing robber you are refering to the same promoter he proudly stands beside for gay this is my white boy photos

My question still stands from last week, if Don King has been so bad to Mark, why re-sign with the silly ****. Makes Mark in my opinion just as silly a ****!

I've been wondering for ages why Mark Demori doesn't post here anymore. Thanks Totalpac, my sleeps will be a lot less fitful knowing that he is safe and well.

Demori has a contact with Don King. Can someone explain how these contracts generally work. If he hasn't fought for nearly 2 years for whatever reason then what is he living off ? Does he receive monies off King being under contract or does he only receive money when/if he fights. Would King have it written into the contract that Demori could take even a keep busy fight against a bum somewhere in the world and earn some $$$$ or is he only allowed to fight on Don King cards ? Whats the story ?

 

Mate IME most contracts are different....Don is a promoter with most fighters

Some of the time Karl will manage the fighters and Don will promote them....however it wont matter....you can be sure Don will have control of the fighter as he will make sure the promotional contract requires his approval to fight anybody.

You will find that its not worth Mark fighting on another promoters cheap card as Don will require 60% plus of the purse even for a keep busy fight

Logic is Don wants fighters ready at short notice so taking keep busy fights never work

 

Inga Tuigamala his cousin and former All Black is promoting the fight. He has no experience at it or I doubt knows anything about the boxing business.
