    Aliev 49-47

Dull fight so far after the first half. It would have been better if the Ustyan fight was the main event.

    Urvanov 10-9
    Aliev 58-57

Marky Mark Canelo picks up the pace and lands a couple of nice right hands. Honestly this fight would be easier for him if he didn't goof around constantly, cause it gives plenty opportunity for Aliev to out jab him.

Good right hand by Aliev lands flush on Urvanov's chin and he gives up on winning the round.

Come on Mark, stop ****ing around, you could very well lose to this unknown chump. Blood coming from the nose of Aliev, plus small swelling under his left cheek.

    96-95 Urvanov

Aliev lands a massive right hand at the end to win the round. I wasn't paying full attention so Aliev probably won the fight. Don't want to watch either fighter again, especially Urvanov.

    Aliev 10-9 Close
    Aliev 98-93

My scorecard is rather wide for Aliev. 96-94 and 95-95 are more plausible, since it was pretty competitive. However I don't think Mark did enough to win it.

    95-95

    Split draw. Fair result. :chuck:

Both aren't satisfied with the result (obviously). Aliev felt he won the fight, whereas Urvanov is more chill about the result, and somewhat indifferent, which is weird as he was all over the place during the fight.

You know, usually in 50/50 fights, the ability to execute your game plan and have a great sense of urgency is what helps to get your hand raised. The situation for this fight was interesting - Aliev was spot on in his ability to showcase his game plan: high guard and fundamental boxing, but the dude had no urgency to do more to dominantly win. Urvanov was very animated through out the duration of the bout, however he just didn't have any rhyme or reason to his strategy and that costed him many close rounds where simply Aliev's clean boxing did more.

The fight wasn't very good and I have no desire for a rematch. Rakhimov was in attendance for the fight. Who knows, we could get a Russian version of Canelo vs Cotto next. :sisi1
