My thought is at somepoint this type of mis match is going to result in someone getting hurt bad. Think Khan Alvarez or GGG v Brook or maybe something much worse

 

I see what you are saying but in his case he's 32 and this is likely the only chance he will get at a world title and one which he doesn't deserve.

He may have more longevity in the ring and maybe earn more long term if he turns it down but for the rest of his life he would have to live with asking himself "What if ?".
