I am saddened by this. One of my favorite fighters, and his fight with Jabouin is one of my favorite fights of all time. Always put on a great show, win or lose.

Great Canadian Fighter with a very decent career

too bad most mma fans nowadays will only remember the famous lump he got on his head fighting Jose Aldo

matter of fact make a google (image) search for mark hominick almost 80% of the pics are of the lump head

All the best to him & his family, that guy's a warrior.
Still young though - 30? So many fighters say they're gonna retire then come back and do a few more. He's still in great shape, so I wouldn't exclude the possibility.

Even in his loses he was exciting but i am afraid he will be remembered more for his pregnant forehead and his 7 sec loss

GSP is a great Canadian fighter, and Ben Henderson is a very good fighter, but Mark Hominick does not belong in the same category....

A solid Contender who could put on a show, and he will be missed. That 5th round against Aldo was thrilling! Thanks for the memories.
