Mark Hunt Prelim Fight UFC 119

I hope Hunt wins by devastating fashion.

From all reports he has actually trained like never before for this bout.Actuall watching what he eats and sparring top tier foes..

Something Mark has never done before.Even when he won the GP years ago.

 

Mark Hunt is contractually owed fights due to the PRIDE takeover - the UFC didn't sign him.

Sean McCorkle has a little hype behind him (as does anyone who enters the UFC with a 9-0 record) while Hunt is a legend and favourite of the hardcore fans, so I'm actually surprised this fight didn't make the live televised prelims on Spike. I'd rather watch this than the Dollaway or Mitrione fights.

 

I've seen McCorkle multiple times in Indy, he is goddamn enormous, one of the biggest human beings I've ever seen, and all the training places I've been to really spoke highly of his skills. The U of Indy wrestling room is a bit of an MMA hotspot, with respected pros, and nobody said anything but positives.

I think Hunt takes another loss.

Wow Hunt looks in fantastic shape. I always wondered if he could even get below 265 as he was close to 300lbs in PRIDE. But there he looks like a rock hard 240-250?!?!
