Johnson. The guy had very few holes. That said, I've only seen a few JKC fights, two of which he lost.
A peak Chang was extremely dynamic and proven against the highest level fighters. His swarming would get to Johnson, stylewise. Chang wasn't at his best at flyweight though, and Johnson was bigger. This could tip it for him.
Johnson should be favored due to his superior speed, power, and jab. Plus this would be at Johnson's best weight class. Chang at his best was such a dynamic fighter in his own right with his unorthodox swarming style, I just think Too Sharp would have been too much for Chang at Flyweight.
Chang didnt go to flyweight until the end of his career so if it's that Chang he gets beat pretty easy. If it's a young Chang who is moving up I give him a better chance but he is still unproven at the weight so you have to favor Too Sharp
Would you explain why you think so Russel? Chang was definitely more proven, but would he be suited for the weight in this one?
I think Chang potentially catches up to Johnson sometime during those championship rounds 13, 14 and 15.
Who did Jung Koo Chang really beat? The names I recognize best on his resume defeated him. I think too sharp would have won this one via his speed & style.
