Alberca, to his credit, was still trying and was able to land some good shots but to no avail. Vitor may have scored another knockdown at the very end of the round but the ref called it a slip.

Round 4: Huge left hook has Alberca reeling to the ropes! He's hurt big time! Vitor follows it up and a right hand sends him down again but this time, Alberca is not getting up and he takes the full 10. KO4 win for Vitor.

Giovanni Escaner (19-4, 12 KOs) vs. Renoel Pael (23-9-1, 12 KOs) - 12 rds @ Bantamweight for the Philippines (GAB) Bantamweight Title, Escaner's 1st defense.

 

Escaner is coming off a knockout loss to Joshua Greer Jr. in Minnesota just over six months ago. Escaner scored a third round knockdown in that fight and was only losing by a point or two in all three judges' scorecards before he was knocked out.

Pael has only won 2 of his last 7 fights but he has never been stopped or knocked out in his 8-year, 33-fight career.
