I'm saying Bivol cannot beat Canelo, because Canelo is much better than Bivol.

Bivol does not possess the boxing skills nor the power to beat Canelo. It's obvious, one doesn't have to be an amateur or professional boxer to notice that. I hope I made myself clear.

Old post so it might need updating

Bivol has performed better against virtually all the common opponents he shares with all these highly ranked/elite LHWs. In fact, he rarely ever loses rounds.

18-0 Eleider Alvarez W12MD Isaac Chilemba (many feel Chilemba won)

19-0 Eleider Alvarez W10 UD Robert Berridge (no KDs Berridge took the fight on late notice)

13-0 Bivol WUD12 Isaac Chilemba (Bivol won at least 10 rounds IMO)

8-0 Bivol WTKO4 Robert Berridge (Bivol dropped Berridge x 3)

28-0 Andre Ward WUD12 Sullivan Barrera

    12-0 Bivol WTKO12 Sullivan Barrera

20-1 Sullivan Barrera WUD10 Felix Valera (Valera dropped Barrera)

6-0 Bivol WUD12 Felix Valera (Bivol dropped Valera x 2)

23-0-1 Sergey Kovalev WKO7 Cedric Agnew

    10-0 Bivol WTKO4 Cedric Agnew

22-0 Eleider Alvarez WMD12 Jean Pascal

    14-0 Bivol WUD12 Jean Pascal

Pascal has fought everyone and he gives everyone problems, Bivol is the only fighter to handle him with ease. He schooled Pascal 11-1.

Obviously Kovalev stopped Pascal x 2 so Kovalev>>Bivol in that one but that was The Krusher back when he was punching savagely hard, not the shot alcoholic of recent years Clenelo dragged out of the drunk tank.

23-0 Marcus Browne got dropped x 3 and stopped by Pascal

21-0 Marcus Browne was dropped by 18-1-1 Lenin Castillo

    16-0 Bivol WUD12 Lenin Castillo

19-1 Sullivan Barrera WUD10 Joe Smith Jr. (Smith dropped Barrera and was fighting with a badly broken jaw from round 1 onward

15-0 Bivol WUD12 Joe Smith Jr. via shutout

Pretty much, if not all, of the aforementioned fighters have or had a significant weight advantage over Bivol. He was giving away 6lbs to Agnew, 5lbs to Chilemba, 7lbs to Pascal, and he would've been giving away about the same to Sullivan Barrera, Smith Jr, and Lenin Castillo if not more.

You clearly didn't watch a lot of Bivol fights. Bivol is a much better boxer skill-wise than Clenelo. But he hasn't the raw and thudding power other guys at 175 have (Smith Jr, Beterbiev) and his style overall is a point-fighting based style which often doesn't look good in the judges eyes. He's going to lose but he's not getting murdered or outclassed. You'll be surprised how basic Clenelo will look compared to Bivol. But Clenelo will come forward and land the eye-catching shots which will win him a lot of rounds and the fight.

I didn't understand what you meant by that. Bivol couldn't knock out any of the names you mentioned, despite Castillo, Chilemba, Pascal had already been KOed before they fought Bivol.

How come Bivol has such a low KO/TKO percentage, and Beterbiev could have 100% KO/TKO percentage? Do you see the difference between 2 fighters competing in the same division?

Bivol is not skilled at all. Look at what Benavidez says above. He sparred with Bivol, and he says "Bivol just does 1&2s and that's all, he is predictable". How can you say that Canelo will look basic next to Bivol??

Listen, I hope you won't blame drugs when Canelo knocks out Bivol Saturday night.

Bivol isn't knocking Canelo out which means he'll lose even if he wins 9 rounds.
You're safe buddy, Canelo will win at least 2-3 rounds which is enough for a win

You can't do a comparison like that. Fighters who fought Kovalev, Alvarez, Ward may not be the same fighters when they fought Bivol. They may have lost their ambition, career goals, hopes, strength etc.

I've already explained it in depth

And none of those fighters had been knocked out before they fought Bivol, which again I already explained.

Castillo had lost once, on points to Marcus Browne who he dropped

Chilemba retired in his corner on a hand/arm injury against Gvozdyk and hadn't been dropped or hurt. That is the only time he's been stopped

Pascal had been stopped twice by the savage punching Kovalev but he was only officially dropped once and he was stopped on his feet and the other time on a corner retirement by his trainer. Pascal is stupid tough and durable

Beterbiev is one of the top three hardest punchers in the sport, a natural LHW, and he has ridiculously heavy hands

I like JSJ but he’s definitely not #3 in the division. He’s #5, got an (at best) gift decision vs Vlasov. It’s: Bivol/Beterbiev #1, Vlasov #3, Kovalev #4 JSJ #5.
