This will be Hopkins' next fight after he stops Jones. Honestly it makes the most sense for both fighters it will be at a catch weight of 170. Hopkins seems to be on this revenge tour and fighting Taylor next would provide him a chance at revenge. Taylor would take this fight because it would be against a guy who's not a dangerous puncher and he's already beaten twice. Hopkins won't fight Dawson because stylistically he can't handle him now and Taylor is the perfect opponent for him to close out his career against.

Will never happen. I expect Hopkins to fight for a CW title should he beat Jones. It would be the best move on his part.

Or **** it...go out as the greatest fighter of all time and beat a Klitschko at 45 years old!!!

I'd love to see JT make a come back, but if he does, I hope he fights a couple guys off the "D" list, and then maybe someone like Brinkley or Manfredo before he tries to step up to the big boys. I really hope you're wrong about this.

After Taylor beat Lacy I thought this fight might actually happen. It was Taylor's second straight fight at 168 and it would be a simple move to 175. Now I'm not so sure. Hopkins has a lot of options and Taylor's stock has really fallen. Maybe if Taylor comes back and pulls down a win or two to improve his marketability but by then who knows where Hopkins will be in his career.

This fight would have an even smaller PPV market than Hop-Jones. And I don't see the networks paying out enough to satisfy these guys at this stage.

I don't think so. Hopkins knows beating Taylor right now does not mean much at all. This is why I think Jones might win. Hopkins can only fight so long and I have been wondering for years when he would age overnight. At 45 he will age overnight and be a little slower, no matter what. Hopkins might have picked Jones too late in his career. 45 years old.

I think Taylor will fight one of the fighters he did not face in the supersix after the tournament is over.

    maybe green ..ward or Dirrell

Wish he would fight Toney so they could shut each other up.

    Who's promoting Taylor anyhow?
