Not because he is undefeated, no because of his one punch ko power (well maybe) but because he is more into the Puerto Rican people then Cotto is. JuanMa reminds me a little of Tito. If his success continues he will surpass Cotto!:deal

IMO... I currenlty like Cotto more but JuanMa is growing on me more and more ever since I met him at the Cotto\Margo fight...

Juan Ma is light years away from Cotto. I like Juan Ma but he has yet to be tested. Cotto is and always will be "the ****"

JuanMa was exposed as having some minor flaws last night. It was a good win, but now we need to see him against he elite. I want to see if JuanMa has cleaned up some of these flaws up by the time his next fight comes around. Last night's fight was a good fight to gain valuable experience from.

I totally agree with you. He is more in tune with the Puerto Rican people. I think he is going to be to Puerto Rico what Freitas was to the Brazilians. Trust me, he's growing on us Americans as well. Best wishes to him in the future.

He's very good but appeared abit to mechanical and seemed abit slow and predictable. He was often countered sharply by Penalosa but he had no power to have an effect. Remember Penalosa is really a division beneath Lopez(it showed in the ring). Yes Juanma has skill and shows alot of promise but the flaws that were subtly highlighted last nite would be magnified against fighters like Marquez or Vazquez

I think if he fights like he did yesterday with Izzy I have a strong feeling Izzy would have no problem and trade with him inside. Id favour Izzy heavily thats if he still has some gas left.

He certainly has the style to become a huge attraction... I like his style alot more than I do Cotto's.. I was never a cotto fan but Lopez is different.. He's starting to grow on me and i think he'll be a great fighter.. Surpassing Cotto wouldnt be a hard task for a fighter like him.. It's not like Cotto is sure hall of famer or anything.. He himself still has long way to go..

Can Lopez surpass Tito? that's what he should be striving for..

I've been saying this for quite sometime...I always wondered why Tito seemed to take a liking to JuanMa more so than Cotto...I think he sees himself in young JuanMa...For the record I love Cotto but I think JuanMa will also be the better fighter as well as the more popular..

Vazquez and Marquez dont have enough of chins to last long against JUmna. yes they would win some rounds but both would get KO nasty.

Why would you say that due to Cotto liking to fight in MSG?
