Mark this thread, Ortiz vs Canelo

Plain in simple, Ortiz gets extremely underrated while Canelo gets very overrated, Ortiz stamina/work rate>Canelos stamina/work rate. We know Ortiz is now willing to get up and keep fighting even maintain pop in his punches, if Canelo takes ROUNDS off when he is short on stamina, something tells me hr won't do very well if he was to get stunned or dropped in a middle of a fight, say... round 6

I disagree, Ortiz was a handful for Floyd, The W over Trout did not come easy, add the amateur stamina Canelo has + Ortiz heart he has shown after getting dropped late = an upset. And the josesito quitage is an exception, dudes mouth was hanging by its skin.

 

Hater?? Where exactly am I hating on canelo?? I'm just keeping it 100 and calling his flaws that won't get past Ortiz's gifted power, I like Canelo more than Ortiz but if Canelo don't wanna get serious he will fail.

 

I would also pick Ortiz over Cotto for the very same reason STAMINA and Ortiz is just strong and is capable of starting strong.
