I think Starling could trouble the hell out of Tito. I'd say Starling is a very live underdog here and an upset is possible. But I just watched the bizzare, hilarious ending to Starling - Molinares so I'll go out on a limb and say Tito catches Starling late. That's the only time I recall Starling being stopped (later declared a no contest I believe), so I'm out on a very shaky limb.

p.s. Starling would be playing a lot of defense in this one, so I actually could see Tito getting a decision being busier.

Starling was too canny, clever and resourceful for Titio. He would be wearing those earmuffs and countering the hell out of Tito, and giving him some Breland-style roughing up too in the process. Starling by a 15 round decision.

Rooster I think we agree on the outcome, although I do think more of Starling than you do............................................ Moochie would be wearing the earmuffs but I think he'd have to respect Tito's power too much to mount enough offense.

Starling would interested for a few rounds, but when Tito gets that left hook going, Starling would fall into the just glad to be here mode that cost him in a few of his big fights.

    Trinidad WU15 (9-6)

Starling would box circles around Trinidad at 147.......... Starling was a master boxer with a decent punch............. Trinidad was a power-puncher at 147, but, his skills sucked ass.......... Starling does a "Winky Wright" on Trinidad and makes the Puerto Rican look silly throughout the bout...... Starling W12 Trinidad........

Didn't say he wasn't..."Breland style roughing up" refers to the same tactics Starling used vs Breland but dosen't imply that they are on par with each other...Starling would rough him up AS HE DID Breland...the basic intent would be the same and was part and parcel of Starling's style...and I think it would have worked. Marlon was too tricky for the rather one dimensional Tito, IMO.

I think it's pretty easy to see that Tito was susceptible to master boxer, and Starling was that. I don't think Tito would be able to figure him out. Starlinig would hurt Tito at 147 and beat him Honeygun-style.

With hindsight, the Honeyghan Starling fought, would do well to here the bell for the fourth against prime Trinidad. Marlon and Lloyd had bad blood and that got the Magic man going.

Starling would just not be into fighting Trinidad, he would primarily be interested in going the distance; winning rounds would merely be a bonus.

Starling may have dogged a few fight and pissed them away joking around, but he never just tried to survive. A hittable, 1 dimensional, predictable fighter like Trinidad would have been soundly beaten.
