I always go with speed of an elite over anything else. Speed wins and makes fights look easy against guys who are really good. Starling was really good but Pernell was great. UD Pernell.

 

Magic Man was at his best against pressure fighter' s .Sweet Pea was a slick as they come. The stylish Sweet Pea on pts.

 

Whitaker in a fight I'd pay not to see.

This isn’t Sweet Pea’s best weight, but he edges it. Marlon doesn’t generate enough offense and can’t land against Whitaker when he does come out of the shell.

 

but starling isn't whitakers normal opponent. Pernell will miss all night long while being countered

 

This fight might be very boring. Whitaker being faster, I can see him picking his punches at time and beating Starling to the punch and winning a slow paced decision.

Whitaker would land more jabs and his movement after he jabs would stop Marlon from countering, Whitaker would have problems with Starlings peek a boo defense but his body attack would gt him a lot of points.

Marlon Starling would win. Wouldn't be by a great margin, but he would be one of the few guys Pernell wouldn't beat. Too good.
