 People need to watch the countdown video and see them in the ring together. The size difference is relatively small.

Its a matter of how fast JMM has had to move up and how little experience he has above 130 (the division where Floyd began a very long time ago). If you can't see that you may as well log off because you aren't particularly sharp, even by the standard around here.

Konaman: You hit it right on the head!! Floyd has been fighting around welter for a while now, and marquez just moved up to 135 recently!!

Yeah but this business about Floyd being "naturally much larger" is completely baseless

No one knows how Marquez will perform moving up, he might actually perform better. Mayweather, obviously like the rest, doesn't know how good Marquez will perform.

That's why Marquez is taking the fight, how the **** would he or the public know if he didn't fight?

There were similar "If you can't see it log off!!!" bull**** whenever anyone said Pac will give Oscar trouble. You never know in boxing and in order to know they TAKE those fights.

Oscar was **** on for fighting Pacquiao yet look how good that turned out to be not only for Pac but for boxing. Mayweather is doing the same for Marquez.

I don't have a problem with the fight, it could turn out very competitive (though i think Mayweather wins comfortably), but anyone who can't see that major issue for speculation isn't the actual difference in weight on fight night, but the nature of each guys preparation at the weight isn't very bright, and to have guys that are half decent posters when not discussing Floyd Mayweather jumping in here as though the OP is a revelation is simply stupid.

Usually when guys move up, they test the waters! I think Marquez bit off more then he could chew, Because hes not fighting a regular opponent! Hes fighting Fu***** mayweather! ( that was a tribute to nacho, lol)... Pac moved up and hes still a beast, But everyone has to remember JMM has a different style then the pacman and JMM is 36 years old!!

How can we say who is the naturally larger man? JMM claims to walk around at 145lbs while Floyd is around 150lbs...some people say that floyd is 5 foot 8 while JMM is only 5 foot 6 so Floyd is bigger...This is much further from the truth...Just because Floyd is taller doesn't mean he is bigger at all...He has a longer reach and he is a bit bigger but it isn't like he is way too big...Cotto walks around at 165 or so while Pac is around 150 for his walk around weight and nobody is giving Cotto any **** for takin lil Pac so why should floyd be gettin n e ****..This is Floyds first fight back and he chose a guy who doesn't fight at a fast pace...SMART MOVE IF YOU ASK ME!

ofcourse, JMM is busy building muscles and fat, while PBF is busy training for the fight. JMM fights comftably at 130-135, PBF cant even come down to 140...:-(
