Isn't that still too heavy for Marquez? Problem is, and lets not forget this, the number of belts at 154 is limited and Arum has a shot at two in Pac's next fight. If he can't get May then he goes for an 8th weight class title.

I've said this before. Dis Arum all you want, but one point separates these two guys but which one is the super star and which one is begging for a fight?

That depends. If he looks really good against Diaz then it'll be a more credible win, especially if it's not at 147. Marquez should be better acclimated at the weight now too.

    Come to think of it..

    You make sense my friend!!!

As much as I want to give PAC some credit if he wins. I would not give any coz he is expected to dominate senior citizen Marquez due to age factor.

On the other hand! 101% CREDIT for JMM if he pulls an upset.

Funny thing is that PBF fans give all the credit in the world for beating BLOATED jmm!

I will take back what I said.

If JMM looks great and dominates Diaz convincingly. I'll give credit to JMM coz apparantly he defies age factor.

If JMM looks sloppy and barely proves himself that he is better than Diaz I would not give Pac credit if Pac BEATS him!

    Cheers!

I don't see the point in Manny moving up to 154. That seems way too heavy for him anyway. He wouldn't get any credit at all for beating up Cotto again. Margarito sounds like a risky fight at that weight and Pac won't get any credit if he beats him anyway.

Freddy Roach said in a recent interview that possible opponents include Marquez, so maybe there's a chance it could happen. 140 might still be too heavy for Marquez but he's had a few years now to get adjusted to the higher weights so he might be able to handle it better now, who knows.

Yea pac wouldn't get much credit if he wins this fight. This would be like his win over morales in their 3rd fight but if he takes this fight, at least he can end the rivalry with marquez. What's better than to see marquez gets his last shot at pacquiao.

Manny will fight Cotto because Cotto holds the 154lb belt and it's another record.

Manny is a different fighter now since they changed the water treatment system down in the Wild Card Gym, Manny has been growing in all sorts of directions. Marquez is too small/weak to fight at 147 or 140 and Manny would maul him bad.

I'm heading to Vegas soon and I'm going to fill up a few bottle of that Wild Card Gym water..........I hear it's the elixir of life.

It must be a real fine line between courage and desperation.

When JMM calls out Manny or PBF it's desperation but when someone like Bradley does it it's courage......................................it's that the way it works:lol:

Would have to be at 147 or so. Pacs too much of a fat cat nowadays to even consider going back down to 140.

Yes this fight interests me but only at 140; however, at that weight marquez might actually have a shot at winning, so Roach will make marquez come in at 147, and a fight at this weight would disgust me.

Noone with any self respect can want this fight!

marquez is the bloated shot fighter that pbf bullied remember?

he is the shot featherweight that khan is trying to cherry pick remember?

pac - marquez 3 is past its sell buy date. at least going off what people say bout him anyways.

he will have to go through amir khan first, so either khan gets credit for wanting the fight, or pac should stay away from marquez.

the guy aint in his prime, his time as a p4p contender is over, but he is still a level.

that said kats would murder him at 135.
