Can't blame the guy for talking ****. He wants to get paid. He wants a big payday from the Pacman. He got rocked by Juan Diaz and that's telling that he won't handle anybody above 140. Pac took Margarito's best shots and please remember that Margarito outweighed Pac by 17 lbs.

Good to see that Marquez is trying to make noise although he's sounds annoying, can't really blame him.

He beats Katsidis this weekend. Katsidis has a glass chin. His Flurries won't bother Marquez because of his counter punching skills. Unless of course Marquez shows that he's already worn out because of his past battles. I don't see Katsidis beating Marquez.

Marquez is a great fighter, but he's overrated; his main claims to fame are his Pac fights and KOing a prime Juan Diaz. His comeback draw in the first fight was amazing, but his performance in the second Pac fight is widely exaggerated by a lot of people. He had ONE AMAZING ROUND where he took advantage of Pac's cut, and that was the ONLY reason his total compubox numbers were better than Pac. Round by round, Pac had the fight won with a three point lead by round 10; Marquez would have had to win both rounds and score a kd to win by my card, and I had Pac winning round 11. This was a Pac who had just learned to make good use of his right hand, but hadn't honed it into a weapon almost as dangerous as his left. Unlike Pac, Marquez hasn't shown any significant improvements. Pac would slaughter him at 135 and up.

What Marquez did to Pac in the past, he ain't doing to Margarito or Cotto. They're both legitimately too big for JMM and have solid punch resistance. Margarito would be able to bully JMM easily and Cotto has a different style than Pacquiao and would be a harder fight.

One says he is a completely different fighter from JMM 2 Version.

But no he just has more experience, Roach has refined the skills that were already present from way before Marquez 1 and ARIZA has improved his conditioning tremendously.

Same Pacquiao is still there... with same movement angles and speed.

 

It's really difficult to like a whiner. He never gives credit to those he lost to (except FLoyd who had a wide decision over him). Claim to fame is in fighting pacquiao. I'm sure it was **** poor management and he was so avoided because he wouldn't make you look good even if you beat him. But come on. All he has to do is acknowledge that it was close and still unfinished business.

He should try a different tactic this time, ask nicely and maybe then he'll be obliged. If no fight still, that's ok. At least he doesn't come off as a whiner.
