    Yeah, I do remember that.

Freddie Roach stated that Pac took morales lightly in training, hence the ass kicking he received.

Then it was the fact that Pac wore "Winning" gloves and not Cleto Reyes.

Then it was the alleged blood test he took the day of the fight.

So, which excuse are we to believe?

Me personally? I think he lost because Morales was the better and bigger man that night. But hey, that's just me....

If you think about it marquez fight make sense. Floyd is hiding and kept moving his court date and pac has pretty much clean up the division. Ortiz- Berto maybe having a rematch later on so pac is left with marquez as the only opponent.

in an interview, pac said he got weakened after a vial of blood is drawn. pac vs floyd is a huge fight and pac has to be 100% on fightnight not weakened. i think floyd should fight pac irregardless of osdt or not and prove that he can defeat pac roided or not.

Yes, but those other reasons were stated for his loss years prior, on video and on print.

The blood test thing came up only when negotitations were breaking down. Right after he said he was afraid of needles, he had a superstition, and that he was afraid of catching something.

It;s all a bunch of bull****.

I too believed that Morales was a better fighter that night...wining gloves or not. He was also the better during the first half of their second match. But the fresher guy prevailed.

IMO, that blood issue was just an excuse to avoid the fight. I believed that Manny wanted the fight (he agreed to OSDT initially). However, Arum wasn't ready to throw his cash cow in the lions' den. It was all Arum's game all along.

No it was not Arum's game.......when he was about to announce the Clottey fight, Mayweather came public and voiced that he had offered a 14 day window of no testing up to the day of the fight, and Pacquiao turned that down.

If Pacquiao had agreed to it all along, he would'nt have come up with this embarrasment of excuse making in the leadup to the Clottey fight.......

He is not afraid of needles, what Pac does not want is a blood being taken out of him close to the fight, cause it weakens him, there are boxers who mentioned that taking blood weakens them, people react differently when blood has been taken from them, there is also a risk of nerve damage.

IMO, Manny wanted the fight. He initially agreed to OSDT. He changed his mind later on and came up with a lot of bogus excuses. I believed Arum got a lot to do with that. He got a lot of plans for his cash cow. And the only way to get those plans moving was for Manny to continue on winning. Arum probably promised Manny a whole lot to play along. Floyd was a very risky fight.

You sir, have been awarded the forrest gump poster award. Please people do not listen to anything this gump says. I've read some posts and its obvious he only regurgitates half truths he's overheard while masturbating at a truck stop.

Did you read what stipulations were in said contract.or should pac sign regardless of purse split, weight, ring glove size, location, testing...oh urea just sign..

    Congrats gump

Where were you? This is now 2011. This issue has been molested and beaten to death. Why bring it up again. Just read the 2 year old threads and you will see what everyone has already brought up.

why would pac's career be held up by a ducking coward who hasn't shown any intention to fight again unless you offer him $100M. The JMM deal is running on a deadline, he may or may not sign up with GBP again. Arum is making sure he does not sign up and is giving him an offer of a lifetime. would he waste this chance and let this fight that most of all you ****en fight fans been yapping about for so long slip away because a ducker is still out there and may come out of hiding?
