**Marquez-Alvarado OFFICIAL PREDICTION THREAD**

Marquez (unless he's clearly out of shape)

If he loses to Alvarado its definitely time to retire.

 

Itll be over a year and a half since Marquez KO win over Pacquaio, and at 40 you can get and look old pretty quick. Alvarado is a pretty decent boxer and his losses came against good pressure fighters (Rios and Provo) who walked him down, whereas JMM isn't as good on the front foot and thats not his style. I think the main talking point is what tactic is Alvarado going to use and if he decides to box (like I think he should), will he be good enough and/or will JMM be faded enough to win a decision from the outside? Also I think JMM has the power to get the KO.

More intriguing fight than I thought initially when it was announced.
