I'm not defending him, I just don't see him as the evil boogieman everyone else does. Arum is till the best promoter today, he gives us great fights, and to be fair, he isn't doing anything the other promoters are doing that's wrong.

That's about it. I just take umbrage when mostly Floyd/GBP fanboys cry how he's ruining boxing. :D

I'm not questioning DLH saying he'd step aside, I'm questioning your contention that DLH said he would step aside and not make a dime for stepping aside.

Can anyone here give me a link to what the supposed offer is to Mosley......I've read at least a couple of articles that said Mosley was supposedly being offered 11 million.
    A link would be appreciated.

Arum does what every other promoter out there does.....look out for himself.
He makes the fights that make financial sense and brings the most money to his own pocket.
......I dont blame or fault Arum for that.

.....What I cant stand of Arum is his constant outright lies. There is'nt another promoter that I can remember and that includes Don King who blatantly spews out lies and falsifications at the rate that Arum does.

If Arum does'nt want to make himself look bad, just keep quiet......but this guy does'nt do that, he just spews venom and outright lies.

What good can be said of Arum when he's already been convicted of bribing fighters and fixing fights for Christ sake!:-(

It's not my contention and you were questioning DLH saying that, you made that clear when you asked if it was anther one of Arum's lies...All I did was take a mans words at face value.

I'm surprised DLH would say that and would be even more surprised if he followed through with it. Boxing is a business and it doens't make BUSINESS sense for him to do so....but if he is truly one to care about JMM that was a very honorable thing to do.....unfortuantely for those kinds of actions to take place in a corporate sitaution doesn't equate to a succesful business with longevity.

Mayweather-JMM did just over 1 mil and Mayweather-Mosley did 1.4. In PPV terms, that's not really virtually identical.

See what marquez has done in the last couple yrs since the pac rematch I would say yes give the man his proper due pay. he HAS earned it & seeing that he was & probably the only other man except for Morales to give Manny hell in that ring. He gave Cassamayor the BIZZNESS, Diaz got molly whopped in both fights & the phone booth fight with Katsidis was amazing. I think marquez has earned his remacth regardless of the pbf fight. We all know Manny doesnt want anymore of the Mexican Warrior that is why he moved up everytime & marquez followed him as far he could. Why didnt manny stay at 140 long??? cuz he knew Marquez was only 5 lbs south & would be easy to make 140 so pac jumped up seven more lbs so he has that nice cushion between him & marquez.

:rofl Right....forgot about that....Floyd had to cough up and additional $300K per pound becuase he missed the contracted weight.:good With that said.....JMM was only suppose to get $3.2 Million but due to a "mis calculation" on part of Floyd, JMM's pot got a little bigger and Floyd's got a little smaller.

you' re saying manny moved up to face stronger ww fighters cuz he was afraid of a light wt fighter ? doesnt make sense at all, considering he offcially won the fight last time they fought.

Why cant golden boy get a fight with a top rank fighter?

he does in house fights like don king did but don king had ALL of the talent arum does not

    he kinda is ruining boxing

if john mccain was elected he wouldnt have a job as a promoter anymore
