Marquez at #1 P4P is debatable but there is no reason for him to be behind Calzaghe!

I have moved Marquez to the #2 spot P4P he seems to be stepping up to challenges while Joe Calzaghe seems to be avoiding the best challenges around his weight.

How do you guys see this situation? Marquez at #1 P4P is debatable because of the Pac decision like it or not. But there is no reason to have him behind Calzaghe!

I agree, he's ahead of JC and at#1P4P is debatable but we might be in a losing stand if we would insist him being #1.

The generics of wins/losses based on arbitrary scorecards, and resume associated nonsense is exactly what is wrong with how P4P gets superficially interpreted. Marquez, according to many, myself included, beat Pacquiao in their rematch. Marquez is definately #2 P4P, at the very least, IMO. Alot of people, not as many, but alot of people had Calzaghe losing to Hopkins, myself included.

JMM lost to Pacman twice. Looked like a buffoon hitting the canvas. And his best wins are over old fighters in Casamayor and MAB. Whoever has him number 1 or 2 is an idiot.

Nobody who's not a calzaghe hater thinks he lost. Hell, even teddy atlas said calzaghe won, no question, and he hates euro fighters.
your boy lost, get over it!

Marquez is my number two. He was trying to get a third fight with Pacquiao but it didnt happen.

not true, i'm a calzaghe fan and i thought hopkins landed the more effective punches which should translate into victory over ineffective volume imo. it was close though so i of course wouldn't argue the decision especially seeing as calzaghe got the nod and that's what i was hoping for.

You can try to explain it to him, but it seems pretty clear our friend Christo here doesn't know the first thing about scoring a professional prizefight. It ain't the ****ing amateurs.. Put it that way. ;)
