Marquez at #1 P4P is debatable but there is no reason for him to be behind Calzaghe!

same here. but he could be no.1 depending on the result of pac-dlh fight on dec (what i mean is the manner of beating, coz we all know that pac will lose)

    Riiight... Rafael Gonzalez.....

Couldn't you at least have picked a name such as "Suge White", "Big Black Daddy" or "Canadian Trucker" like others have done to not make it so obvious that 90% on ESB have latino roots?

thats two old fighters vs 1 for Calzaghe in a fight he arguably lost and looked like ****. Kessler is the only young guy he beat and kessler is not head and shoulders above CasaMayor or Mab. Add to that the very close fights with Pac the consensus P4P #1. I would like to know who you have at 1 and 2

would you prefer Chauncy Billups or maybe Felipe Stargell. I didnt know I needed to hide my ethninity on here, does that make my posts any less relevant. I have no problem and hell I wish I could change my ESB moniker to RAF is it possible? anyway I dont think it matters but I wanted to shorten it to Raf though I dont give a rats ass if people know Im latin or not. I didnt think it was a big deal. I do have the capacity to root for non latins Pac and Pavlik Abraham, Dawson so what is youre problem? Im also Puerto Rican and reserve the right to root for every Boricua that comes down the pipe.

I will however not root for a Boricua who is a ducker or cherry picker or does the kind of bull**** Delahoys does in that case I would root for the other guy. So whats youre real problem with my moniker?

    I agree, JMM at 2

and Calzaghe wont be able to get that #2 spot back unless he TKOs RJJ

I don't have a problem with you dude - nor do I have a problem with the fighters you like.

However, I have a problem with the couple of posters that haven't understood what the polls on ESB show - namely where the posters come from.

A poll that asks: "Who is p4p no. 2 Calzaghe or Marquez?" is really saying "Are there more latinos or brits on ESB?".

And so on. Polls on ESB basically only show the 'truth' when the 'truth' is too obvious - in which case a poll is of little use anyway. And when the 'truth' is somewhat debatable the polls will be answered by "Are there more x or y members on ESB? In which case it of course is also useless.

I would place Marquez at 1 now.

    Marquez
    Calzaghe
    Pac

Regardless, he lost and you're wrong. Hopkins was a fairly effective counter puncher in the first 3-4 rounds but after that the tide turned way in Calzaghes favour.

He didn't lose to any of them, certainly not Pacquiao. Poor judging for the marketable fighter.

First off most people think JMM was robbed vs John. Second John has been an undefeated champion for many years. I doubt a C+ fighter does that.

You have no clue how to score pro fights to even say that. Get real.

that list by tffp just shows how "good boxing analysts" are always out of place.
