Maybe a few years ago yes now I don't think so Marquez is to old and unmotivated to fight a young lion like Thurman. Marquez comeback could be some one like Rios or at least someone not as athletic as Thurman.
Thurman would brutally KO Marquez, JMM isn't good at walking fighters down as evidenced by his performances against Bradley and Mayweather, Thurman would do a number on him and stop him around the 9th.
Love Marquez, but he's too small. This is a fight he needs to avoid, it'll put him into permanent retirement.
