JMM will be in top notch form. I know Nacho is just ****ing around. And yes, he would never let JMM go into a fight if he didn't think he could do it.

    Weightlifting does make you slower.

JMM doesn't do the typical type of weight-lifting though.

Pacquiao is a freak of nature. Not a good barometer to judge that its easy to jump weightclasss.

And anyways I'm not complaining, just laying the facts on the table. I think its a good fight and that Floyd is stepping in against a relatively difficult style. But noone can say that Marquez would not be a more formidable foe if the fight was at 140 and below, cause they would just be talking out of their ass.

I'd say Castillo, when Floyd fought him, was better than Marquez.

They are only working on speed for the last month of training.

Castillo was damn good and that may be true, but Floyd had to have been more on point as well being he was younger, more hungry, without a 2yr layoff.

A psywar, nacho is playing a mental game. If he's telling the truth we'll find out the answer on the 19th of the next month.

More muscle mass can equate to a boxer losing speed, and slowing down as the fight progresses

Nope, not at all. I'd say if JMM fought Castillo (2004 - 2005 version) at lightweight Castillo would have raped him, hell that Castillo would be the king of the division today in my opinion.

Yeah, that works against Floyd but the higher weight is going to hurt JMM as well.

JMM would have beat Castillo something like 8 rounds to 4. He would have taken over after about 3-4 rounds. He's too accurate and moves too well once he adjusts. Castillo would be chasing him around unable to really get off and eating counters.

I don't see that at all, the same JMM who wasn't able to get away from Juan Diaz, is not going to box circles around Castillo. Castillo in his prime is all wrong for JMM, too big, too persistant, too much pressure.
