Because you won't gain muscle mass with less weights and more repitition. You will however become more faster, therefore, would convert to more power as force is speed x mass or weight. That is why women use this to buff their muscle resolution, imagine those singers like Madonna. This exercise encourages the fast twitch muscle, whereas, weightlifters develop the slow-twitch muscles.

What is ideal is to add another form of exercise to develop the fast twitch muscles like Pilometrics, aside from bulkng up exercises which makes you slower.

So Roy Jones jr., David Haye and Shane Mosley are slower then they would be without lifting weights? Wow, I guess they should stop doing it immediately then.

If he has a good conditioning coach he should be ok. Lifting weights without stretching your muscles will slow you. But I'm sure for this biggest fight of his career he's got good people.

Sounds to me like an early excuse if his guy loses. As far as Marquez against Castillo who knows who would win. The fight never happened, but one thing to take into consideration is that Castillo was extremely strong at lightweight in his prime. If Pacquiao could drop Marquez Im sure Castillo could have too. If a past prime Barrera can drop Marquez...you get where Im coming from. I don't think Marquez would have had the fire power to hurt him. Who knows though. Styles make fights.

    Castillo WAS bigger...better...tougher than JMM

He's been going down for a long time, a prime Castillo would have never lost to a bum like Hatton

According to who? It's boxing! Anything can happen. Your predictions are often way off.
