Marquez can beat Floyd and don't be shocked if it happens

    This fight is gonna come down to stragey. Both these fighters are counter punchers and can fight off their back foot. Floyd's defense is better and he has more speed but marquez throws straight punches and puts combinations together better. So it's gonna come down to who can adapt more by making the other fight his fight. People are under selling Marquez cause he's the smaller man but if Floyd can't knock him out, it's gonna be tough for him to win. If Marquez makes floyd press the action and plays the counter punchers role like he usually does I can see him beating Mayweather because he's a very intelligent fighter with a lot of resiliancy. Floyd has never encountered a fighter who I believe is a smarter fighter than he is and a better counter puncher.

    Lets not forget that Marquez gave Pacquao his 2 toughest fights and Pacquao hands are blazing fast and he's more relentless and is a harder hitter than Floyd is, so just those key elements play a videl role. It's Marquez's fight to lose if he doesn't fight the right fight. If he does fight the right fight though, it could be a long night for Mayweather. Any thoughts?

    I agree. Marquez shouldn't be fighting above 140.

    Mayweather shows he has no class by fighting him above 140. If Mayweather wins it is no big deal in my mind and it doesn't, in any way, tarnish Marquez's record if he loses.

    PBF is going to school Marquez. He has been training for a long time. He has been seen in and out of gyms for quite some time and now he is going into serious training for this fight. At 147, Marquez is dead meat. At 140, he may have his moments. PBF has a different type of speed then Pac. He will break Marquez down and possibly stop him late. Marquez can never beat Pac now. Pac has evolved into a much better and stronger fighter.

    marquez manly love and obsession for pacquiao following him to any wieght just to get his revenge by virtue of fighting floyd will spell doom for him. he's 35, small and fighting the best and bigger fighter floyd will bring him back to reality. just look at the fight with old casamayor who was a rugged fighter. casa gave him hell. and that includes juan diaz too. diaz gave him good shots. his weight hopping will end him

    No way Marquez win's this fight and Mayweather knows this more than any of us. As talented as he is, He is simply to small.

    marquez can beat him its not that impossible, floyd is favourite ofcourse. its gonna be a 12 rounder.

    I can only see Marquez winning if Floyd is not 100% at his best and shows some ringrust due his 1 year and a half retirement,and honestly Floyd could beat Marquez only if hes at his BEST!! if only 80% of Floyd shows up,he might experience his first loss,cuz i believe 2 beat Marquez convincly u need be at yur highest level of game,becuz not even the great manny pacquiao 2x waz not able 2 defeat Marquez convincly,but if the same Mayweather we remeber as the P4P king shows up,I see him winning A comfortable UD against Marquez,and maybe,i said MAYBE a late stoppage
