Yeah and Chavez,Canelos idol has just said again that Canelo needs to take the Canelo fight though he truly thinks Canelo is gonna wait until GGG is showing signs of ageing before they consider.
That said he even said Chavez jnr will boil down to 160 and take the fight lol.

I think Oscar has made Canelo look awful in this,I truly believe Canelo would of taken the fight by now as there's no way you can call the guy a coward in the ring,in trying to protect his cash cow he's hung his fighter out to dry and there's nothing Canelo can say to prove otherwise?

Take the damn deal.. don't be greedy, this is how fights don't get made.. if you feel you can win, you make it happen and the next time maybe the ball is in your court.. it's that simple.

What Manny Pacquiao ended up getting after being offered a 'career high payday' beforehand shows what a joke these flat fee offers really are.

Not really, GGG isn't in the position of Pacquaio.. Pac was already established as the second highest PPV draw besides Mayweather. GGG has had 1 PPV and it was not a successful one. 150k against a nobody, is nothing man when you have Canelo raking in double against a domestic fighter.

GGG is no Pacquiao but Canelo is no Mayweather either.

Anyway, the point stands. Canelo and co. are trying to shaft Golovkin with this BS offer. You know it and I know it. I mean if Golovkin brings so little to the party then why not offer him a split of the PPV? He'll prob get less than the 10-12m they're offering now right? Fact is that they know how much this fight would generate and so their offer isn't a serious one.

I guess that's why it's a shrewd offer from Oscar and a over a year out he's made an offer of genuine life changing money,K2 are definately thinking about Mannys deal as they've said so,they'll be thinking if we accepted now just how much more will the purse be worth after GB sells the fight, that said its a curve ball offer from Oscar as he asked and told everyone the negotiations for this fight will not be made public and yet all of a sudden after beating Liam Smith with over a year to go and two more Canelo fights left he decides to make negotiations public?

I'm not gonna get my hopes up until Canelo and GGG are due to meet next fall.

Of course he's not Mayweather and the fight wont even generate half the money that floyd and pac did, but he's gone now, and there's only 2 ppv draws in boxing right now and that's Canelo and Pacquaio.. still, Canelo is going to make, what...25 mill plus upside while GGG takes 10 million? I doubt Canelo is going to make past 30 million which is what you guys make it seem like.. it's a fair deal, plus they both get more from the PPV upside.

As I say if they're worried that GGG isn't bringing much to the party then he can only lose out by taking a split instead of a guarantee. Seems fairest for all parties to me.

Oscar's looking to save face. This isn't a serious offer.

If it works out that way then yes that's fair and I know where you're coming from to try and make comparisons with Mayweather and Manny P is not realistic, pay per views since that fight have gone down big time, maybe on the account of everyone feeling robbed by that fight, you'd hope with the fans all talking about this match up though that it would do 1.5million,I know individually both guys don't come near to that figure but together I think they could,as an example on news 24 a normal article gets very few quotes but as soon as there's. Canelo,GGG there's usually about 50 quotes to highlight the interest in those two?

10 million for GGG is a lot of money, and he should take it. Holyfield took 12mill to Tysons 25mill, DE la hoya made 52mill to Floyd's25mill.. And Look at what happened after both won. They became cash cows. GGG needs to jump at this opportunity, or move up... Stop pricing yourself out. I still think Canelo whoops him, but hey.. Take the damn deal.

Canelo's flat fee offer is a way to keep his and GGG's names in the media, build hype, and create tension between fans between now and their late 2017 fight.

    Nothing more, nothing less.
