Juan is a Mexican but will be the first to backout. He doesn't have the drawing power. top rank has always been the chicken when they played chicken for fight dates.

Nelo gets it for sure if he's fighting Mayweather or Cotto next.

If either Floyd or Nelo wants someone else on that date, I can see them fighting over it which can lead to a boxing match in the ring.

I always anticipated that they would clash sooner or later over these Mexican holidays.

 

We're likely to see GBP putting either Floyd or Saul in that 9/14 date. If it's Floyd, regardless of who he faces, I think TR will move out of that date, yes even if Floyd picks Devon.

If it's Canelo, we'll see. If it is Canelo I think Arum will still keep the JMM/Bradley card there, but depends on who Canelo faces. If it's Canelo v Cotto, i'm not certain then. If it's Canelo v Angulo or whoever else then he'll stay.

Hope the JMM/Bradley card stays that day though, my last weekend home until I go back to school and i'd def buy it.

 

The Marquez fight is gonna happen. Bradley and Marquez want to fight each other so thats a wrap. Not sure what Canelo and Mayweather will do. something tells me Mayweather-Canelo wont be happening sept 14th so unless Canelo is fighting Martinez or im not sure who Mayeather fights, I will be watching Marquez-Bradley. that fight will be a war

 

Canelo-Cotto would move to a different date.

 

Golden Boy got May, TR will get Sept.
Noway there are 2 PPV's on the same night.
(Unless one of them go the cable route)

Marquez/Bradley already has dibs, but if May/Canelo gets made, Top Rank will definitely move off that spot.

Arum would be stupid to go against Mayweather or Canelo with one of his two biggest fights of the year. He would reduce JMM's drawing power if he does as all signs seem to point to Canelo being more popular among Mexicans. And he would reduce the media build up sooooooooo much if he went head to head with a Mayweather fight.

I just can't see two major cards on that date involving the fights/fighters being discussed. I hope not, at least.

 

I do expect them to make this a PPV fight.
