If he is only training to fight the counter punching style of Floyd. I have a feeling Floyd will be on the offence in this fight, he's been rested, his hands are healed and he's looking as good as ever.

In the latest 24/7 from the little footage we saw of Floyd training he still seems to have his speed/reflexes etc. Also the training partners that JMM was using to imitate Floyd looked terrible, and pathetic to be honest, no-one out there can do Floyd's style well enough to use as a credible sparring partner to build a full gameplan around. JMM needs to focus on how he will fight and not how to counter Floyds style.

Im gonna put it out there now, I predict Floyd to be on the offence in this fight and not to be counter punching and defensive. I see a late TKO victory to Floyd.

The great thing about all of these threads is that eventually we all get to see the fight.

I want marquez to win. I put my money on Mayweather. I just don't think that Mayweather would take a fight he wasn't at least 80 percent sure he'd win.

Actually if u paid attention on the 24/7 you could hear Nacho telling JMM they were gonna be pressuring him while countering. So i think JMM will be coming forward towards PBF bating him in so they can counter him. Which is a good plan because u cant beat PBF with pressure as has been proven but also to just solely counter PBF is gonna be pretty difficult. I do hope PBF is aggresive beacuse thats gonna benefit JMM more than a potshotting PBF. I also wonder whats gonna happen when PBF gets caught by a combination he does not see coming. Im pretty sure its gonna happen.
It didnt sound like they are gonna purely rely on countering PBF. Which would be IMO nearly impossible.

Marquez's footwork and defense is not good enough to pull it off. Zab had success doing it b/c he is fast with good footwork and he is an underrated counter puncher. JMM wont be able to get his footwork in place coming forward on Floyd to actually get off first. Thats what the Mayweathers know, they know Mayweather can get off first on JMM going forward or backward. JMM can counter great he knocked Casamayor out with a counter he was going for throughout the whole fight and got closer and closer as the fight went on then he finally caught him. The bad thing is it was the same punch. Floyd will not get caught late and make him pay.

^^^ I dont know man. I think PBF will get caught with a combination at one point or another. I think it will be easier for JMM to land on PBF than on PAc since Pac is constantly moving and is pretty much unpredictable.
PBF is a much better fighter than Pac obviously but he will be easier to land on.
I just wanna see how PBF will take a 2-3 punch combination. If he can take them no problem then JMM is ****ed but if he cant then he might just beat PBF(in the fans eyes). No way JMM gets a decision against PBF.

Landing a combination on Floyd will be harder than it was on Pacquiao.

Much harder.....Pac moves a lot, yes, but Floyd anticipates punches better than anyone in the game...

I think it may be about the same.^
PBF is good at anticipating punches because he is usually on the defensive but PBF has to look amazing in this fight to be able to get the larger purse so that means he is gonna have an offensive mindset which usually leads to getting hit more.
also with Pac its hard to hit him also because first u gotta time him since he is contantly moving and also u gotta be careful u dont get him in the process cause u might be going to sleep then.

guys. guys. did you not even watch baby bull blast away at JMM for the first 8 rounds?

are you saying that Gayrunner is not as fast as Diaz? and doen not hit harder?

Diaz JMM was why PBF took the fight - JMM is slower than ever before, and will get KOed. which is too bad.

The main difference between Floyd and MArquez is: Marquez knows he is in for a long hard night and he doesn't give a ****!!!!! He will fight his heart off, get paid, and go home happy.

Marquez came from behind against Casameyer and Diaz.
Now to come from behind against PBF is another story.

If Floyd's gonna be on the offense then he is giving JMM more chance to make an upset. :D

JMM's bread and butter is counter punching . . . so he'll be playing on JMM's game. :deal

floyd the aggressor, is a bad move IMO....making floyd the aggressor will be taking floyd out of his comfort level.....

JMM has one of the sickest uppercuts while on the back foot, While Pbf has the fastest straight off the back foot...both are dangerous counterpunchers, but due to natural size, speed and reach...PBF should take this. It will be a swing of offense and an exhibition of skills. Will be good if Pbf decides to take the offensive.
