Ortiz didn't have to lunge ,and he had shorter arms. And you can use feints, which Pacquiao is great it. Watch more boxing ****.

He is going to lunge because that's what he always does to close the distance. And he's not good at judging the distance which is why he often punches himself off balance. He is too dependent on his footspeed.

What the hell are you talking about? Pac will have to lunge in he's at a reach disadvantage in the fight and he always lunges in even when he has the reach advantage.:-(

PBF is a thinking man's fighter he has a plan A B C and D. Just because you see one plan only against a certain guy doesn't mean he can't use others like he's done in the past. He can come forward get on his bike stay in the pocket or a combo of all of them. Pac on the other hand can fight only one way attack and when that doesn't work then what? Pac can't deal with counter-punchers period he also hates two handed fighters and is a sucker for the right hand.

You idiot. Do you even watch Pac? Ortiz fought heavily on the front foot and relatively square. He also ate a ton of straight rights. Pac lunges as a matter of habit. Hell half of you morons run around talking about how great his footwork is. Pac also keeps his hands down when the action heats up. This is going to be hilarious if they ever do fight!

Then again the difference is 2 versus 5 inches. I am sure you constantly attempt to sell 2 inches being "about the same" as 5.

Not consistently. He likes to fight in the pocket, he invites his opponent in to throw, does it all the time. It's part of his defensive habit.

Gander, I have read a lot of your posts, what is your actual prediction if Manny and Floyd fight?

I think Mayweather should be slightly favored against Manny. But using the Marquez fight as the reason is not too bright. Floyd and Juan hve different approaches to their counterpunching style. Mayweather should win against Pacquiao because of his skills, and his size. he has the reach advantage and his elbow defense may neutralize pacquiao's aggression. But Pacquiao has a great chance because Floyd moves backwards and sets himself up in the corner or at the ropes. Pac's angles may find a way through floyd's pointed elbow defense

Right now I'd favor Floyd, in 09 I'd pick Pac. But I wouldn't feel safe bettign on either guy.

You just said Pac has to lunge bc he has shorter arms, and I just gave you an example of somebody who had shorter arms and dint have to lunge at all. No need to try to cover your tracks. Pac does lunge as a matter of habit, but as long as he's not over-extending himself he won't throw himself off balance.

You *******s are getting REAL humble.

I hope this fight goes down. Pac is going to get beaten mercilessly while being completely embarrassed.

I am not covering anything. I told you why it was a completely invalid example. He does have to lunge and Ortiz did "lunge", but did so to a much lesser degree due to stance and reach. That is why he was bringing the left hook to stop the counter.

Keep believing. I am so positive of the outcome of this fight I want you to believe more in Pac. You *******s are so humble now.
