sorry, i do watch boxing and understand that southpaws don't throw straight rights. i'm pretty much blasted right now though. we all have our cross to bear.

anyway, hope floyd doesn't get raped in the bumhole. that would really suck. also, i think he would beat pac-cow, but i'm frustrated that he won't fight him.

Pacquiao got ****ed up by Moraless jab and straight right, Marquezs body punches, and counters, and you're talking about some ****ing right hand counter you think Floyd can't counter? Go sit on a ****ing nail ******* so you can pop your brain. Stupid mother****er.

do you kiss your mom with that mouth? floyd got plastered by chop chop's weak right hook. he got knocked down by zab's light little counter "check" right hook. what do you think pac - cow will do to him? he will KTFO him with the right hook.

jesus "joseph smith" christ, what do you think pac's straight left will do? If ya'll don't understand that floyd would get bomblasted by pac-cow, then ya'll don't know **** about boxing.

do you have a job? you don't live in America do you? I hope not, unless you live with your mommy. I favor floyd in the fight, but my confidence is cracked by the fact that he's ducked pac-ki-wow like a ricky hatton left hook.

Log off you idiot. I mentioned I boxed because people mention I have no clue when they never stepped inside the rings themselves (something your boy Floyd claims you have to do to really know the sport). If you think the bold is not an essential part of the dynamic between a southpaw and an orthodox fighter, then shut the **** up because you don't know **** about boxing and will contribute nothing to this discussion. I didn't write this for butthurt fanboys like you that gloss over the fundamental nuances of the sport.

Im not worried about it, if it bugs you that much, then feel free to put the entire thing in Microsoft word and re-write it.. for me, If its not my homework, its not a report for my job, then I really don't give a dame, its just a response, to some knuckle heads on ESB.

I really don't have time to re-read , re-write and then post .. so thanks for your concern, but no thanks.

    peace

Lmfao-showing one video of one punch is not enough "back up" to really back up a statement-

it would be like me posting manny gettin hit by jmm and saying "oh cuz of that that then this"..dont work like that.

This I agree with totally. While watching the third fight, I was surprised again, at the weird angles he was taking to counter.

Interesting post, very in depth. However, you did not mention any of pacmans flaws which will be punished by Floyd.

    1) Pacquiao often leaves his hands low which will seriously compromise his defence.

    2) Pacquiao does not cover up and move when being hit, he prefers to stand and trade.

    3) Pacquiao becomes frustrated when unable to consistently land punches and begins throwing more wild shots thus making himself off balance.

Speed wise, I think they are equal (possible edge to Floyd.)
Power wise, they both have the power to KO each other.
Work rate, I see Pacquiao as being the more busy, trying to be the aggressor and control the fight.
Accuracy, I think Mayweather will be far more accurate but I expect Pacquiao to throw more punches.

Overall, I think it will be a good fight. Mayweather to win by decision or late KO. Pacquiao winning by KO a possibility. If I had to choose, my money would be on Floyd.

You covered speed, but dont forget the quickness factor. Mayweather is clearly the much quicker fighter. That quickness will be magnified several fold whenever Mayweather chooses to lead.

Mayweather is so quick in both getting off a shot and getting back in a defensive posture, he's virtually impossible to time and counter with any type of effectiveness.
