marquez eats, breathes, lives, etc etc pacman. jmm is a counter puncher by nature and pacman is a swarmer. they say you box the brawler or you fight the boxer, so those the great style's to matchup in boxing when you have two fighters that employ those styles of boxing at the elite highest level. i think foyd is the most affective counter puncher in the sport along with the best defense. but it takes more then good defense and counter punches to beat manny. you need a full tank for high speed chess and poker, speed and above average power for his above average chin. above average chin for yourself and just to employ your style of boxing at the highest levels humanly possible.

mayweather by late tko, hes stopping pacman.

cool video even though the video maker was tripping at some points

talking about how Mayweather hasn't ever had to make adjustments everyone else has to make adjustments to him wtf:nut

Oscar stepped in with his jab making it hard to pullcounter. Mayweather neutralized Oscar's jab by firing back with his own jab along with side to side movements instead of the usual pullcounters.

Everyone can do an analysis, but it's rare to see someone back their thinking up with actual footage.

I like how he emphasized that timing is the most important thing in boxing.

exactly, we hear way too much about power, heart, speed, and chins.

Take a good fighter like Mayweather. The best shots he has taken throughout his career were counters that happened because his opponents managed to time him for that one instance.

Take prospects for example, everyone raved over Lacey's power, or Khan's speed. Andre Ward doesn't have attributes on par with those, but in terms of Ring IQ and craft, he's always been miles ahead. He's gone further as a result, despite being given less fan fare.

Only a ******* would think otherwise.

    More reach.

    More speed.

    Better right hand.

    Better timing.

    Better footwork.

You are out of your mind not to see this. Pac and Arum do. This is why they are avoiding this fight like the plague.

yessir good timing allows a fighter to catch his opponents with punches they can't see. They won't be able to brace themselves and roll with the shot if they don't know where it's coming from.

You're on Floyd's nuts so hard that you can't see that styles make fights, and Floyd has habits that are a liability against a mobile and explosive southpaw; no fighter is perfect. Please don't post in my thread anymore if you're going to post broad things like "speed, timing", etc. Individual attributes with no context don't contribute anything to fight breakdowns. And *****s can stop calling me a ******* when I have Marquez winning all 3 fights in their trilogy.

I have Marquez drawing the first and winning the next two by 2 and 3 points.

I do think that if we get the fight now, it will be a watered down version of what we could of had in 2008.

2010 may end of 2009 if he hadn't fought cotto. Before then pac was moving up to welter he fought hatton and oscar in 2008 and mayweather wasnt being considered. Until he became a draw at welter
