Pacquiao's style is TAILOR MADE FOR FLOYD...ALL THAT RUNNING IN HE DOES AND ALL THE MISTAKES HE MAKES...

FLOYD MAKES MANNY PAC PAY WORSE THAN MARQUEZ..FLOYD ALSO HAS BETTER FOOTWORK THAN JMM..

FLOYD CONTROLS THE FIGHT WITH HIS LONGER REACH AND BETTER SKILL AT KEEPING "TIMING AND DISTANCE" IN CHECK AGAINST AN OPPONENT.

PACQUIAO IS WAY TOO SLOPPY WITH HIS COMBOS AND HIS FOOTWORK IS VERY POOR-

PACQUIAO IS UNABLE TO ADJUST TO A FIGHTER AS WELL-HE WILL ALWAYS LOOK GREAT AGAINST SOMEONE WHO IS STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM-ONCE HE MEETS A GOOD MOVER U CAN SEE HOW PATHETIC HIS MOVEMENT AND FOOTWORK IS.

There is a video on youtube showing this pathetic footwork I'm speaking of...

AND PACQUIAO AMATUER HOOKS ALL THE TIME-FLOYD CAN COUNTER THIS ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!

    LMFAO....GARBAGE POST..

Floyd will find his right hand easier than JMM found his..Floyd's footw-ork and bigger size will allow him to CONTROL THE TEMPO OF THE FIGHT-

Floyd can also land his straight right when MANNY THROWS HIS AMATUER HOOK-

Manny will find himself very confused when floyd puts that LEFT FOOT AND LEFT SHOULDER OUTSIDE OF PACS RIGHT FOOT-FLOYD CAN JAB AND RIGHT HAND..

Also-IF MANNY DECIDES TO TRY AND USE HIS JAB HE WILL GET CAUGHT WITH A RIGHT HAND:deal

Floyd KO Pacquiao in 7 if they fight-STYLES MAKE FIGHTS AND FLOYD IS ALL WRONG FOR PACQUIAO.:deal

If its so damn easy why doesn't your boy take the fight? After all Maywethaer must have seen, as we all did, that Manny has trouble with counterpunchers.

There is something else that Mayweather is seeing that we are not, that is why he is hesitant to take the fight. Oh and please don't bring up that PED "take the test" bull**** as Marquez has shown otherwise.

Wow are you kidding Marquez clearly learned what it mean to wait in the pocket and counter from his last fight with floyd.. Floyd fights with his eyes wide open and can box backward, forward , and lateral as well as counter in ether direction .. Marquez didn't win because he used great movement , he won because he is a thinking man fighter .. Floyd appitimizes the thinking man fighter, and if you think floyd will use the same plan he used fighter B for fighter A then your in big freaking surprise .. Floyd never uses the same game plan on another fighter.

Seven pages and most, if not all, missed the point of the thread starter.
Bogotazo never said Manny would win against Floyd. In fact, he said Floyd would still win should the fight ever happened. The point he wanted to get across is that Floyd and Marquez both use defense, counters and overall ring general ship in different ways. It seems he wanted to point out that one should not compare Floyd with Marquez and thus not assume what the outcome of the fight between Floyd and Manny would be.

He wanted to point out that Marquez' counters can come from inside since his body is smaller and his stance is not tall like Mayweather's. They use footwork tremendously different from each other. Marquez counters while Manny throws his wild flurries whereas Mayweather, for the most part, either goes on full defense or full counter mode which for Manny might be a little easier to predict.
I don't fully agree with Tazo either, but I at least get where he's coming from.
These 7 pages only made clear which members stand in what corner should the big fight happen next year and how most of you guys only stand on the far side of each side of the spectrum.

jmm throws combos above 3 punches more often than floyd, other than that floyd does everything, everything better. floyd has more reach, better stamina, better defense by miles, better timing, more speed, more power, better foot work. And in case you havent noticed, floyd has been using combinations consistently since his comeback.

some people seriously believe floyd is just going to run, throw 20 pop shots a round and allow pac to get off 100 punches a round and swarm floyd, they are ****ing ******ed.

Did you see how JMM controlled the distance and kept pac at bay with a few well placed jabs that werent meant to land but only to throw pac off his rhythm? floyd does that all the time with the jab to the stomach.

No JMM and Floyd are not alike, JMM is way easier to hit and he was slipping pacs shots all night

What about when Floyd hits Pacquiao? Consider that JMM made Pac weary and he certainly doesnt have the power Mayweather has.

What if Mayweather lands a hard flush right hand? :think

Good post OP. I think it's fair to say that JMM is to Pacquiao what Norton was to Ali. Just a complete stylistic nightmare for him.

What it showed was that Floyd wont have to "run"...as I've said for over a year Floyd will walk Manny down and beat him in the pocket. Manny's punch output will drop because he's confused, Floyd will tee off and as the fight goes on Manny will be the one backing up. Floyd is far faster than JMM and he will dictate the pace.

Manny will walk into shots, and will get impatient and off balance just as he did last night. When this happens Floyd will capitalize. Floyd is better and stinger on the inside, and has obvious advantages on the outside. Reach and hand speed combination will be too much for Manny.

The greatest single advantage Floyd will have that will allow him to dominate this fight is timing. JMM did a great job timing Manny, Floyd will do the same on an entirely different level. I would point to the right hands he used against Hatton and Diaz as they attempted to rush in as examples. Manny is a rhythm fighter and Floyd will disrupt that rhythm and keep manny "resetting" all night. Eventually Floyd would break him down and become the aggressor as the fight went on.

I agree with the TS from the standpoint of it not being a carbon copy of the JMM plan, but there are a lot of elements of the JMM plan that demonstrate how these advantages and tendencies would be detrimental to Manny and favor Floyd.

There are other things such as versatility, ring IQ, and physical attributes that haven't been discussed that would work in Floyds favor.

    Interesting thread.

    I also like this gif:

So many things going on in such a short space of time. Pac feints, Marquez goes for the parry and ducks, Pac pauses to judge his reaction then goes for a jab and an oddly angled left hand. Marquez dips to the side to avoid the jab and Pac's left flies right past his face, maybe grazing him. Marquez goes for a right hand which doesn't work, followed by an uppercut (or hook) to the body and then the cleanest punch out of the entire sequence, a crisp right hand that catches Pac with his guard completely down. Pac's own right hand shoots out but only lightly connects, and they both move away.

Just crazy, the amount of shifts, attacks and counter-attacks all in that little sequence.
