    my next question is how is marquez gonna beat mayweather without knocking him out? i mean i saw how much trouble jmm was having with diaz, and diaz aint no mayweather. i think the only thing diaz has on mayweather is workrate...

    Diaz and Maywethare are NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING alike.

    Boxers like Marquez fight every fighter different.

    and.... diaz is 100x more reckless than mayweather and while he is a fantastic counterpuncher, he's definitely not on mayweathers level. answer the question.

    Easy to answer for a boxing fanatic like myself.

    Maybe hard to understand for you.

    there are several key points that need to be pointed out.

    1. JMM is the type of fighter that fights to the level of his opposition. It's a common trait shared by many great fighters.

    2. JMM is not one dimensional by any means. He understands he can utilize certain styles for different type of fighters.

    For Instance, against Diaz (a light hitting guy) he could take more chances because the odds of him getting hurt by one sole punch was minimal. As opposed to fighting Pac where he needed to be MORE STRATEGIC. There is no need to fight a careful fight against someone who is feather fisted

    3. In terms of boxing offensive, JMM supercedes Mayweather. JMM can be a defenseive wizard ala Mayweather, but he can also be an offensive master.

    The key differences between Mayweather and JMM are the JMM likes to mix it up, and actually goes for the KO win. He is willing to risk more for teh sake of a great show. Mayweather uses the safety first and safety only approach, which is fine, but then he shouldn't be crying like a ***** when people boo his boring ass. (Btw, I truly appreciate PBFs skills)

    there you go, that's more like what i was looking for. thanks for that.

    i still think that with his speed, power, and precision he will most likely get marquez out of there sometime in the later rounds, but i'm really not sure. im having a lot of trouble calling this one cause i do really like marquez's chances, but i can't for the life of me see him beating pbf.

    marquez loves to battle, like uliuli was saying. for that reason he was stunned when he fought diaz and for that reason i am leaning towards floyd in this fight. if diaz can stun jmm, floyd will knock him down. not sure if floyd will be able to knock him out, but i do think he will have him down at least once in the fight.
