Just read the article. Marquez incorrectly stated that the ref hadn't restarted the fight. Its clear therefore that while good intentioned, he doesn't know what the **** he's talking about. He probably was speaking after seeing it live and hadn't watched any replays.

The NSAC, Bayless and pretty much everyone with authority and common sense have confirmed that the fight had been resumed. Ortiz's fault only. Shouldn't have been a classless, cheating ***** anyway.

The clock wasn't running. If it was you would've heard a bell when Ortiz was on the ground. Ever heard of a KO at 2:59 where the bell didn't rang? Cortez did restart the fight but didn't restart the clock. It's either the ref or timekeeper fault.

That's not what the timekeeper says.

Thats probably what Cortez was doing which seemed to have distracted Ortiz as he was looking at him.

this was just another terrible fight for Cortez. Someone needs to retire that dude.

The ref resumed the fight. At the point the fighters are free to engage. Ortiz should have had his hands up.

Cortez said "let's go" but didn't yell box, exactly. Marquez probably hasn't been on ESB arguing with nuthuggers and haters about it, so I doubt he's viewed too many replays.

Even if he were to watch a tape and decide it was technically legal, I doubt the sportsman in him would condone it.

Cortez ****ed it up. Ortiz was dumb. And Mayweather took advantage of the situation. This should be clear by now.

Marquez said Mayweather weighed 20 pounds more than him on fight night between them (lie). That's the reason he couldn't hit Mayweather. Right?
