I hate when people overrate Marquez's hypothetical wins over Pacquiao. He won more rounds in the first one, but he had a terrible first round and Pacquiao won just enough rounds to make it close. In the second fight Marquez got dropped less, but Pac won even more rounds, showing that his overall skill has improved.

Marquez did NOT beat Pac the way Morales did, and no, Pac did NOT get knocked down. He gave him hell, but don't make it out to be a domination.

Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach is open to a third fight with Marquez, but insists on one condition.
“We’re not going to fight below 147,” Roach said right after his pupil’s demolition of Margarito, in an interview with Lem Satterfield.

 Figures. Where are all those *******s that were bitching about floyd fighting JMM at 147?

I thought JMM won both fights but now there is no way he could beat Manny at the higher weights.

    Let the hyping begin......

IMO, Pac will fight Marquez in 3 conditions:
    1. He hurdles Katsidis
    2. Fight at 144 to 147
    3. Mayweather refuses to fight Pac.

Pac is running out of options. Shane is not a viable option.

Marquez should just STFU, we dont need anymore pointless fights next, just get FMJ & Pac in that ring asap next year then afterwards we can talk about where Pac goes from that loss.

Everyone knows Marquez got the better of Pac. You gotta respect that.

 But seriously I don't think Marquez will beat Pac at 147 and the Floyd fight is the one we need to see first.

I agree with Ariza. The Pac-JMM 3 would be best fought at 140 limit. That's the best weight team pac could offer. I could not see it at 135, nor at 147. Although roach said it at 147, but it would be difficult for JMM and fight may become incompetitive and meaningless at 147.

I agree that Pacquiao should first fight Mayweather.......

......after Mayweather embarrasses Pacquiao, a fight with Marquez (though some of the luster is off of it because both have lost ot Mayweather).....its still makes sense in that now JMM would at least be able to do some dictating as far as forcing Pacquiao to come down to 140 lbs.......

.....and not only that, but this way Marquez also gets paid better, as he can demand a better split from a fighter that just got his arse handed to him by Mayweather.

I'm 100% not kidding about this.......you look at the video I just posted a few posts ago on this thread, and you see Pacquiao througout that video being thrown off from such a llittle thing as a fighter taking a half to a full step out and to the side and firing a counter.

.......against an outstanding counterpuncher like that, Pacquiao cant get into a real punching rhythm and it throws him off every which way.

    You're right, bring the Mayweather-Pacquiao mismatch first!:D:hi:
