Marquez' legacy is secured. I dont see Marquez contemplating fighting a tall and fast fighter like Khan unless he's offered 10 million+ to do so. If Marquez does'nt get those type numbers to fight Khan, then it aint worth the risk at his 38 years of age. A Bradley matchup is not PPV, which is why I dont see that happening. Rios is'nt PPV, but its much an easier style matchup for Marquez. That fight could be a possiblity. When you're 38, you have to be careful to get matched properly. Evander Holyfield in his early 40's and still a legit contender got matched up very badly against younger, quicker, faster heavyweights. He got matched with Chris Byrd, James Toney, and Larry Donald, all quicker faster fighters he'd have to chase, and he lost all three of those fights.
Stylistically Khan would give a tough fight.to Jmm, but hes no Floyd or Pacman. Pacman is still Khans dadda so to say Marquez ducked Khan, but beat his dadda Khan is just acting like a little attention *****. Pacquiao was the big fish Khan is still a sardine.
Fair enough. I suppose the best option figures into his personal cost/benefit ratio scale, which we could only guess as to where it stands exactly.
Khan has a bad habit of calling out or fighting(the Barrera debacle) much, smaller Mexican ATG's so he can say they don't want him.Khan is good enough to stop this nasty habit and fight on merit so he should get it together lively and concentrate on fighters his own size(and age) And before we get the light welter argument,Marquez is a natural feather and Morales is a natural super bantam.Khan is probably a natural welter.
